We will reach a point where you can get the single player MMO experience by booting a local server and having extremely well trained AI players everywhere. From the guys asking for levels to the masses of trader spam to the dude you walk by going to Falador that just says 'lol'. It's both horrifying and heartwarming as a way to keep dead ancient MMORPGs alive failing some bigger revival project.

I have yet to scroll through 2009scapes TOS but I did get the chance to try out Vidyascape and it was really good. I even tried using the client on my 2010 netbook and It ran with no framedrops (unlike the runelite client which does a pathetic 12fps max.) I hope these small clones continue to grow. Enough that they have supporters to keep their projects alive but also not enough to draw the attention of Jagex to try and sue these projects.

I believe its bait since the primary focus on the update was the Slayer Partners returning, and there's no mention of it on the tweet or other social media, so its clear they slipped it in a major update to fool the veterans who either raged or clapped liek seals, and then used it as an excuse to start banning the former for being bigots.
