I kind of feel like that is what it is gearing to as everything surrounding him and Nika is more with the other characters and the audience rather than the character himself. I would assume that Oda also sees it as betraying his character if Luffy suddenly cares about being the reincarnation of not only the world's first pirate but Nika but only if it benefits him. He's kind hearted but narrowminded on his goals of just wanting people to be free he doesn't seem to really care that much about the nuances.

I hope that we're not reaching the point where Imu is working for somebody, because then we get to where Naruto was introducing a new villain that the previous villain was a minion of every passing arc.

I don't think Loki is free. Loki mentioned that his feet are still chained and then he fell due to being in shitty health. If anything, Gaban will probably stop the argument between Luffy and the giants about whether or not Loki is bad by telling the giants that everything has gone to shit. Assuming he doesn't get dragged into said argument as well. Which would probably happen to get the reaction of what Luffy is doing to follow up him falling asleep while arguing with another "shonen hero being an idiot" gag/moment.

Maybe the part on the right or the part in the middle? Because the part on the left was Nika leading a force against somebody.

I do love how Imu didn't even produce some sort of fancy gun either, just a good ol' shotgun like Elmer Fudd.

nah i dont think thats the case here hopefully. if anything i think imus powers explain his issues with joy boy a bit more. if anything can be related to naruto at this point i think it would be something like imu being madara and joy boy being hashirama.

since it does seem to me like imu has his own way of running things that he sees as the ideal way and joy boy from what we know seems to have been all about freedom so maybe there was a battle at some point about how best to stop the end of the world which joy boy lost.

Between this and his eyes shrinking at the beginning, it's fine. It's got the uncanny teeth thing going, but he's fine. Love the hoof clops, though.
 
Not nearly as bad as I was worried he'd look, pretty decent. Now the real test comes when he has to engage in combat and go into his various forms.

I really wasn't expecting them to go full CGI, I thought they'd use a child actor in prosthetics for base Chopper and CGI for the transformations. Could be worse I suppose.

For the recent chapters, Mu's powers really seem to push what devil fruit have shown to be capable of and I'm expecting the reveal of something else. It'll probably just be the devil god no mi or some shit though.

Yeah, like the troon discourse aside, the Oden thing was kind of annoying. Yamato didn't feel like her own person. And her just going "I AM KOUZUKI ODEN!" got old fast. I sincerely thought the end of the arc would have her accept her own identity, that she doesn't have to fashion herself after another person. If anything, her cover story cements the idea she'll just stay as "Oden" until the end of the story.

yamato without pretending to be oden is just younger kaido with a hint of ace and luffy. i still hope she chills with the LARP eventually since its obvious the whole living as oden thing only started because she hated kaido and refused to be anything like him.

with kaido gone she has no reason to rebel anymore so maybe she will realize the best way she can live like oden is by being herself. much like how oden refused to change who he was even in death.
 
rereading 1150 and something that got me thinking is how busted is Imu/Mus' ability. So he/she can force people into contracts with the only exchange being reduced life span for an "undying body" ? Depending on the prerequisites to do that that's fine but why can people be 250 years old at least when like that? maybe your contract gets upgraded when going from god knight to gorosei.

another thing I think is Imu may just have devil powers that made the fruits or are related to what did, I think gunko has either the devil devil satan satan fruit and that allows imu to take control or a vega punk copy fruit thing of imu which facilitates that postseason .

and cgi chopper is passible the little gag at the end didn't sell it for me but I'm sure its hard to try to do the little gag bits with both the dub and cgi plus its a teaser thing.
