Still is real upsetting to know Bitch Alpha tore up every single letter and didn't bother giving Bonney real medicine. Vegapunk must've known not to trust anyone else and made sure everything would get taken care of under his watch.

Meanwhile there's no scarring on Bonney, so wonder why she has the piercing if it's not hiding anything.

Maybe a "never forget" sort of deal. Nice chapter, biggest take away for me is it's the first time Dragon has shown honest to god affection towards Luffy, now I'm more intrigued on why he basically left him with Garp and never tried contacting him. Also, a buddy of mine mentioned that Kuma protecting the Thousand Sunny was his first "pure robot" command it seems.

He did say a child is a parent's weakness. The World Government has eyes looking out for him, so he probably didn't want Luffy to get involved.

Although I wonder if he had any idea that Sabo became a blood brother with Luffy and Ace.

I mean, we saw what the WG did when they even suspected that Roger had a child...

Sabo literally didn’t remember until Ace died. Dragon found Sabo drifting after an explosion.
 
Well at the very least Dragon is certainly approving of Luffy's current career. Heck thanks to Luffy he was finally able to meet Robin and share much information with her for two years.. The question is though if Luffy will at one point join the Revolutionaries or simply keep "Pirating" and just help out at occasions

There is no way in hell Luffy is joining the Revolutionaries. He has an extreme disinterest in large organizations in general and wants to live free as the pirate king after all. He will probably team up with them, but only as long as their interests align.

Additionally, he frankly doesn't seem to give a shit about Dragon and would probably say Garp is his true father if asked.
 
Bandai announced two new pre-time skip figures:

I am tepidly excited. On the one hand, do we really need a FOURTH Luffy figure before they even make one Sniper King, Chopper or Usopp figure? On the other hand, maybe going pre-time skip will mean we'll get a pre-time skip Franky figure. You know, before Oda fucked up his design.

There already are Usopp and Chopper figures by other brands. I've seen plenty of them on Mandarake.

Yeah, its not hard to find a decent Chopper figure. MegaHouse is probably the best, but its a different scale from Figuarts. Anime Heroes looks cheap (but, again, Chopper looks the least worst of the line). And the old Figuarts Chopper is... horrifying.
 
I picked up a Wano Luffy figurine while on vacation because I couldn't help myself, but it's in luggage that's currently in transit to the house. Tight connection times fuck you up.

I think the suitcase is luckily the kind that makes the contents snug as a bug when packed, so it should be okay when it arrives.
