Maybe a "never forget" sort of deal. Nice chapter, biggest take away for me is it's the first time Dragon has shown honest to god affection towards Luffy, now I'm more intrigued on why he basically left him with Garp and never tried contacting him. Also, a buddy of mine mentioned that Kuma protecting the Thousand Sunny was his first "pure robot" command it seems.Meanwhile there's no scarring on Bonney, so wonder why she has the piercing if it's not hiding anything.
He did say a child is a parent's weakness. The World Government has eyes looking out for him, so he probably didn't want Luffy to get involved.now I'm more intrigued on why he basically left him with Garp and never tried contacting him.
I mean, we saw what the WG did when they even suspected that Roger had a child...He did say a child is a parent's weakness. The World Government has eyes looking out for him, so he probably didn't want Luffy to get involved.
Although I wonder if he had any idea that Sabo became a blood brother with Luffy and Ace.
Sabo literally didn’t remember until Ace died. Dragon found Sabo drifting after an explosion. He did say a child is a parent's weakness. The World Government has eyes looking out for him, so he probably didn't want Luffy to get involved.

There is no way in hell Luffy is joining the Revolutionaries. He has an extreme disinterest in large organizations in general and wants to live free as the pirate king after all. He will probably team up with them, but only as long as their interests align.Well at the very least Dragon is certainly approving of Luffy's current career. Heck thanks to Luffy he was finally able to meet Robin and share much information with her for two years.. The question is though if Luffy will at one point join the Revolutionaries or simply keep "Pirating" and just help out at occasions
There already are Usopp and Chopper figures by other brands. I've seen plenty of them on Mandarake.Bandai announced two new pre-time skip figures:

I am tepidly excited. On the one hand, do we really need a FOURTH Luffy figure before they even make one Sniper King, Chopper or Usopp figure? On the other hand, maybe going pre-time skip will mean we'll get a pre-time skip Franky figure. You know, before Oda fucked up his design.
Yeah, its not hard to find a decent Chopper figure. MegaHouse is probably the best, but its a different scale from Figuarts. Anime Heroes looks cheap (but, again, Chopper looks the least worst of the line). And the old Figuarts Chopper is... horrifying. There already are Usopp and Chopper figures by other brands. I'm so incredibly non-plussed by this announcement. There's no way a 2024 anime is half as stylish and well animated as 1999 One Piece. Also, SpyxFamily sucks when Anya's not on-screen. Fight me.https://youtube.com/watch?v=aJKPk1MriFo

I have always said that one of the saddest things is that One Piece started after Anime became "seasonal" and that if they were able to not have to fuck with the pacing to make it a weekly series the anime would be absolutely astounding.>Wit Studio
Holy shit.
There are certain people who shouldn't read One Piece. Moms and Irish youtubers are two of them.View attachment 5579622
I know Japanese housewives are huge fans of One Piece, but I don't know how I feel about having American wine aunts getting into One Piece.
