I enjoy Robin being ladyZoro in terms of protecting the flock while everyone else is being stupid, that's a good dynamic instead of her just walking off to study something for exposition in 20 chapters.

The best thing to happen if the Straw Hats fight CP0 would be to have them completely below Luffy/Zoro/Robin levels, that they get their asses handed to them by Brook/Franky/Nami. It's this big setup for a rematch but you aren't even worth their time.

Oh no if Luffy doesn't beat the holy fuck out of Lucci I will be sad, BUT I still want to see Luffy go Gear 5 on Lucci for the 5 seconds it will take just to have Luffy to something Tom and Jerry to Lucci in Cat form

Good chapter. Ever since wano ended the chapters have been getting better and better. We definitely feel like we're in the end game. Hopefully we see more of SH crew together since I'm getting tired of them always being separated. Or those hijinks of Bonney deaging/aging the SH girls to fuck with Simpji
 
LOL Salad!Law is now canon. I wonder if they'll get a woman for this part or just have Kamiya use his Choroko voice.
 
Fun chapter. Oda's clearly enjoying himself by stretching a little with this island while also jamming massive amounts of "but the setting plot is not stopping" as he does so.

Also Blackbeard jumping onto an already ridden mount and flattening one of his crew beneath his ass summarises the guy in contrast to Luffy so well you almost want to applaud.
 
I have always been sour on haki's overtaking of devil fruits as the primary power system in One Piece, but it being able to nullify paramecias as with Doc Q's sick-sick is going way too far in my opinion. I was ok with the way it handled logias, but the ridiculosly varied affects of paramecias basically just means it will have to be able to change physical reality. What I mean to say is the sand logia creates sand and you can avoid the intangibility factor but you can just punch created sand into disappearing, the sick fruit seemingly creates a disease but the pathogens can just be dispelled apparently. The absolute game changing power of the yami-yami to nullify fruits basically becomes pointless depending on how far haki goes in this regard (unless it is what let's Blackbeard use multiple fruits, which was always a theory I preferred though it seems to be getting less likely). There are plenty of hacks one-shot DFs like love-love, hobi-hobi and ope-ope that need counters, but I wish their ilk were handled individually like in pre-timeskip instead of this potentially one-stop solution.

So here's to my boy Blackbeard, become pirate king by by beating all the haki with superor devil fruits to get the series back to it's old ways.
 
So my fiancé is hitting the 100 episodes milestone. It feels pretty good to know his hesitance over its length is being eased up.

Also I honestly forgot Ace hung with them out in the Alabasta desert. This rewatch was something I needed, my memory of the Alabasta arc was lacking since I wasn't 100% fully invested in that the first go-round.
