I'm going to spread as much misinformation about this, and I invite you all to join in.
Any time leaks get brought up, post this image:

We're going to bring a narrative that SurfShack Tito will be in as DLC.
If anyone questions you where it was from, say that a dataminer found it in the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

Twitter, 4chan, Reddit, all of which are entirely fair game.
 
I will only buy this game if they include Malcolm as a playable character. They need ALL the all-stars.
 
I'll say it again, this game is fun.
However. It needs alternate costumes, less fuzzy hitboxes, fewer down air insta kill combos, just a balance patch in general. The meta is a bit focused on missed techs and nair combos.
As mainly a melee player I like the speed and movement, but the lack of variation and options in movement are noticeable.
I hate to even say this part, but the lack of l cancelling or some other execution based skill gap makes it feel a bit shallow.
All that said, it is very fun. Meet me at jellyfish fields bo3 my April will put her boom mic straight up your ass.

Update: Rowf & Snitter from The Plague Dogs should be in. It's such a beautiful movie that it needs to be known as a classic.

The first major patch has been released on PC. Some pretty huge changes like increasing DI from 10 to 16 degrees, removing many of the nair and dair combo strings. They added dash dancing as well which creates a whole new feel and movement option.
They went hard on this one.

apparently Warner bros is making a gacha team based smash rip clone after this, all I'll say is there's only one character they own who can get me to get into FTP bullshit without feeling any sort of regret just to play as them in a weird fighting game

Of course it's gacha trash with the most predictable set of characters. I wanted to see Alex DeLarge fight Nu-Rah. :sigh:

The lineup so far is boring as fuck with who you would expect, with only Gandalf and maybe Mad Max being the only two none capeshit or cartoon characters.
Really need to get fun with it and add something like these

Glad to see it doing relatively well, hopefully it gets alot more updates over time since it's core gameplay will probably be the best smash like since WB will fuck theirs up and I would hate to see this just go to shit.
 
Don't expect good things from that WB game. Punching Steven might be the only redeeming quality right now.

It'll more than likely follow Brawlhalla's model since thats the premiere free smash game, but the budget will be high enough to charge 20 dollars for the inevitable 100 skins of Batman alone.

As for nick I'm glad its still doing alright. Devs still put in the work gameplay wise despite the majority of the same complaints being made about the aesthetics. Its a work in progress but the transparent dev team makes it much easier to endure

Agreed. On that subject, though, why is it that so many people expect this game to fail? Sure, On the surface, is does come off a low effort cashgrab but that's mainly due to Nickelodeon themselves not expecting this game to do more than make them a quick buck and as a result not giving the dev team a AAA budget. The devs genuinely put in the effort to make this game fun to play and it kind of ticks me off that a lot of people are so quick to write it off.

Some people even went into this thinking it will replace smash bros even though it should be pretty obvious that would never happen any time soon.
