Rights issues are preventing Fairly Oddparents and Kappa Mikey to be in the game. At least Nick and the dev teams were very lucky to get Jenny in the game.

Wait does Butch Hartmenez have the rights to Fairly Offparents?

How come Nickelodeon didn't keep the license for themselves isn't that how they usually do their stuff?

(Doug doesn't count since they fucking lost their license to Disney)

I am guessing Tak would also be an issue given his shared ownership with THQ. I know he isn’t the most requested, but part of me would like to see him as he was an interesting experiment in Nick history, had good games, and I just view him as part of the main 6 thanks to his large involvement in Attack of The Toybots and Globs of Doom.

Kappa Mikey is my personal most wanted which makes it sad to hear his fate, along with FOP,a big part of my childhood.

Other than that, the only other rights debacles would be film characters as Paramount is a bitch with rights. SpongeBob could never utilize the film characters in the show for the longest time due to Paramount. I think Otis is fine seeing as he was going to be in a canceled kart racing game, but characters like Rango might be screwed even though Nick made the movies.

Sorry for double posting…

Nick owns the American rights, but it airs and is owned by Disney internationally. A few of Nick’s shows fall into this trap such as MLATR. If the game was just in America, there would be no issue.

I know Norbert and Daggett might be easy picks seeing as Paramount still owns Angry Beavers, despite not being as recognizable in terms of 90s-early 2000s Nicktoons, which explains why the two are my most wanted picks. Otis and Rango would also be great picks.

Call me crazy, really, but Richard Scarry's Busytown characters would've been decent picks as Nick, Paramount and CBS used to own the property, but sadly, there are no chances of it as their license were expired a long time ago. Sadly, the same with Tintin given its movie 11 years ago, which Nick only distributed with Sony involved in co-distribution overseas.

As for Terrytoons, it has been completely scarce since 1994 when Paramount purchased theatrical rights. The only thing current about Terrytoons was a planned live-action/animated film reboot that was in development hell for eons.

Gary LeRoi Gray, Sean Marquette and John Kassir were in it, yet they are still acting as of 2023.

Fairly Odd Parents has different licensing in other countries, so rights seem to be a huge hurdle in getting them in any Nickelodeon titles. Timmy would have easily been in Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 + 3 and the original All-Stars Brawl if this wasn't a factor. The only hope is that Jenny was licensed through the same company internationally, but MLATR is a dead IP that was never that popular, so I am guessing the rights either came back or were pretty cheap.

Now if they can only add in characters from each short movie from Nicktoons Film Festival to Nick All Stars.
