What did they do to my Charge Blade? Why nerf it?

Evade extender is 100% going to be in the game, the beta was just unfortunate for SA with the gear given, i do agree on the sword counter, that needs some tuningNot having evade extender feels particularly bad with SA and the high chip damage when using the sword counter is retarded. If they fix that alongside a general damage buff it'll probably be fine, but we'll have to see. If I remember correctly SA has a decent time against Rey Dau which leads me to believe SA is salvageable with a few adjustments. Also, HH has a bug when using the bubble/wound attack where the y+b timing is ridiculously strict. I have a paddle bind for that combo so I was fine but if you don't then I wouldn't blame you for thinking HH felt bad in that particular aspect.
It's too late, I've already gone full consoomer. I need the Red Mage armor. If you need Framegen to get 60 FPS you actually need to wait or refund the game. Framegen for getting above 60 is fine. But if you're not even getting the bare minimum then somethings wrong.
I legit think it's the new Engine which they were ironing out to make public. REX is apparently supposed to be going public like Unreal and Cryengine. At least, I've heard it was. If that's the case they probably fucked up some optimizations to make it more idiot friendly like UE5 does. However, it does seem weird that they would do it with their own games too. Because Fortnite and Black Mist Wuhan still perform great despite every other UE5 game running like shit. So clearly someone didn't put Capcom on the up and up that the engine should only be enshitified with your customers games. And that your games still should run well. It's too late, I've already gone full consoomer. I need the Red Mage armor.
I'm at a PC crossroads, I have a 4070 super, but also a SuperBudget Intel i5 136000K. I made the awful mistake of taking PC spec advice from my friend who loves "budget" parts even when we can both afford better. So I have a piece of shit AsRock MoBo and a budget CPU. To upgrade to an AMD CPU and compatible MoBo it would take $800. Which I am not going to spend for Monster Hunter alone.
Capcom was the last AAA game studio I got excited for, and after DD2 and SF6, they have started to lose their luster for me. Upcoming big graphics games don't excite me. I'm assuming a lot of people are in the same boat and won't upgrade to the 95th percentile just for MHW(ilds). I put myself between a rock and a hard place like a retard. I'm fully expecting Suzie Shill Hunter to come out with an apologist video claiming the performance is way better, only for it to be even worse on launch.
You can add paddles to the regular controller w/ a separate accessory I think (haven’t tried it myself). PlayStation (like Xbox) sells a pricy pro controller with paddles. There are a bunch of random Chinese controllers but I don’t know how many there are for PlayStation.Nooooo.... I got my self a ps5 for Christmas and one of the reasons was Wilds and bugstick. I don't think my laptop has the capacity to run it (at least not on the settings i want) so this was a bit of a massive letdown. It was easy in MHW so don't understand why they would make it more complicated now but if thats the case, well well.
But ok, never used paddles a day in my life but whats another 50 bucks at this point. Thank you for the heads up!
Anyone with tips/recommendations on brands or what to look for?
I’d also prefer a stylized look (albeit with more fidelity than the older games). However, normgroids REALLY prefer the realistic look so I don’t expect them to ever deviate from it for the mainline titles.I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I'm not a really big fan of the visual style of Wilds. I liked the more stylized and cartoon-ish art style in the older games. I liked World, but that was because it felt like a one off thing where they were trying something new, but I cannot get it out of my head that Wilds literally just looks like Final Fantasy 15. Seriously, replace the mounts they ride on with Chocobos and you could splice footage of the trailers together and they'd be indistinguishable.
I said the exact same thing to someone I know and he said that was a weird opinion. But that guy also said he liked that you could now put female armor on male characters, so I'm pretty sure he's gonna troon out soon. I stopped talking to him after that. The current roster of new monster lack a lot of distinct flair that older games had. I think there is a good middle ground between realism and stylistic fantasty. For example one new monster is just a straight up octopus with a different element, compare that to Nakarkos. Even the Hermitaurs are stylized enough to not be just big crabs. I think the fidelity, and hyper realistim is taking away from the core art style of Monster Hunter. I never liked Doshaguma, it's design is very blobby, it could be in any fantasy/scifi setting. I find myself more excited seeing older monsters like Congalala and Blangonga coming back than new monsters.
Out of all the new monsters the only ones that scream Monster Hunter to me are Chatacabra, Arkveld, and Ray Dau.
Balahara is the one that I look at and just feel nothing. Something about the tri-part mouth just feels very anti monster hunter design, especially for such an early trashmon. I think wilds is also gonna have the world problem of clogging up the bottom rungs of every location with low tier shitters that are obsolete before you even unlock them. The current roster of new monster lack a lot of distinct flair that older games had. Depends on when they'd do it. A few weeks after Wild's release? They'd probably be up high. But longer than that and you'd definitely see the popularity fade, realistically though a lot of the top popular monsters would undoubtedly be from World and Rise. I really don't care for a lot of these new monsters I'll be honest. Maybe they'll grow on me.I'm very sure many of the Wilds monsters would not even reach the top 40 let alone the top 20 or 10.
Worldies HATE rise monsters, so there's a sort of dampening effect on them in polls.Depends on when they'd do it. A few weeks after Wild's release? They'd probably be up high. Nintendo already bottled it with bing bing wahoo.Open yet another MH thread on /v/; people saying the new copy-paste fanged wyvern flagship is heckin kino while also begging to have the same monsters as the last 3 games be added to this. Someone should bottle whatever MH achieved, fans actively wanting reused assets.
