This had the feel of a bad Super Bowl commercial for Minecraft with celebrities. The only difference it's a full length movie.

I personally think they just took the new Jumanji movies scripts and changed the character names and crtl+f replaced the word "jungle" for "mine".

This would 100% star The Rock and Kevin Hart too if they could get away with it, but that would be too obvious so they got a different famous samoan guy and a different wacky black.

Alternatively this could be going to chat gpt and saying "write a movie like Jumanji but for Minecraft" would not be suprised at all.

Oh, I’m being 100% serious. The script link specifically said it was going to happen, and this was before that trailer came out.

Every time I forget that this is even a thing, a new trailer comes out and I question what I did to exist in a timeline in which this fever dream of a movie happens.
