If any one has Amazon Prime Mega Man 11 is free to play on Luna until August 1st.

I could never get a good read on Mega Man 11. Like I wanted to enjoy it but something just felt off about it after playing and loving Mega Man 9 and 10.
It is the most middle of the road classic megaman game, but as a way to revive the series I think it is good enough

Maybe they could do an 8-bit Mega Man Xtreme 3. Let Inti Creates do it, just a short but tight game sort of like Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.

MMBN 3 Kinda sucks to be honest, it's almost great but the fact half the chips are bad and the weird lag between attacks kills it for me.

MMBN 6 on the other hand is absolute gold, smooth as butter and with so many * chips the ability to pull of some fuckin' nutso combo's.

Also as bad as it was 4 (And 5 but I LIKE 5) has the single best moral choice system in any video game I've other played Dark Chips working like performance enhancing drugs and perma removing 1 HP every time you use them for pure fucking power is a very cool especially with the fact the more you use them the more you sort of have to use them with Dark Megaman cutting off a lot of powerful chips an Full Syncro.

Hyped as fuck for this collection.
BN takes a nosedive from 4 onwards, if you're going to try out one game, as ducktales mentioned, go with 3.

I am surprised that people do not like BN5. Having a huge cast of characters and that strategy map spiced up the gameplay.

This is kinda silly, but I hope the remaster gives a difficulty setting. Its gonna being boomers playing this so it makes sense.

I only played through BN5 once, and at times, it got really grating. But, having multiple playable characters and the dark chip system made it a pretty fun game. The actual campaign just went on way, way too long. It probably didn't help that I had played every other game up to that point, including suffering through all of 4. Oh, and I also played the DS version, so I got to hear AAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL of the cheesy voice acting you couldn't turn off, where Mega Man would vocally comment on just about everything you'd do. But the dialog wasn't narrated, so it was just a whole lot of very repetitive voice clips they drove into the ground.

See 5 is my favorite game in the series as I'm wierd like that, I find pretty much all the chips are in someway useful and all go well together, not as much as 6 but it's up there. I did feel they didn't do enough with the post game and the stratergy things though, I loved the 3 hardest ones in murkland but would have loved some completely optional ones later on, perhaps in areas of the internet that didn't have them before.

Add in some extra bosses, maybe some returning ones and the ability to play as any Navi like the Link System in 6 and it's perfection,

Would you really want that though? Considering the series was supposed to end at 5 and every game since then has been shit.
X6 is the best one.

There is little chance of IntiCreates getting ahold of the X series either, because they have trashed Capcom over not letting them make X a villain directly based on a live action Kikaider spinoff.

Wasn't that Inafune's idea?

It was not. Let me pull the quotes.

Of relevance:

"The main concept that we wanted to explore was Zero killing X," says Aizu. "We wanted to come up with something really sensational. There was something about Mega Man Zero at first that we felt wasn't quite right — it wasn't true to our idea of the character. So we tried to resolve that by coming up with this dramatic concept.

"Also, there's a manga series called Kikaider which really influenced me, and Inafune happened to like the concept, too. The Kikaider manga had an anime spin-off called Hakaider. There, the bad guy, Hakaider, becomes the main character and defeats the main character of Kikaider. That struck me as really sensational and stuck in my mind, and that's what inspired me to take the direction we did with Mega Man Zero.

Inafune was just a character designer. He did not come up with Mega Man or X, he came up with Zero. He became a producer for the X series in X4, and as soon as he did he planned to kill the X series to focus on Zero, who is basically his baby.

Oh I see. Well that reasoning at least resonates with me more than Inafune's character shilling. At least here I feel like they thought it was a good idea rather than getting rid of the side baggage like Inafune seemed to like doing in the X games.

The problem was that IntiCreates was mostly working with Inafune.

Inafune appears to have a gigantic ego and let his producer status get to his head. He more or less acted like his word on how MM should go was holy writ, while at the same time claiming he barely had any involvement with X5 except to tell people to make it the end so he could shill his character Zero more.

When Inafune quit Capcom he appears to have basically burned his bridges, which led to IntiCreates getting burned in the process. That's why you are very unlikely to see an X game made by IntiCreates. And it's probably good that they wouldn't, because of their intimate ties to Inafune.
