Finished Aura Battler Dunbine. This show was just all fighting and preachy platitudes and no actual characters. Plus for all the protestations it makes about Japanese warfare being bad, it still seemed completely obsessed with showing suicide attack after suicide attack. I'm not sure why people would like this show aside from the usual edgy exoticism of shows where the entire cast dies violently. Even if you just want to see massacres, there's no reason you should force yourself through a 49 episode anime instead of just watching a death compilation on Youtube.

Seed destiny, G gundam, Dynazenon, Majestic prince and the inclusion of Godzilla has me excited. The MC mechs are still meh in my eyes but im open to be proven wrong.

Godzilla should have been in 30, really. It had the Shinkalion movie and Godzilla was in that. Godzilla's inclusion here is just correcting their mistake.
Slightly disagree, i feel godzilla wouldve looked horrible considering the shitty animation that 30(imo) has.

Hopefully the next one can go crazy. I have a good feeling about G crux and transformers.

Jet Jaguar is a pretty kickass inclusion not gonna lie.

Godzilla is supposed to be evil in this, it would be nice to be able put a leash on him.

Started watching Orguss as part of my SRW homework. Helps that it's a Macross production sequel, and I loved SDF.

This show's a way rougher start, though. The mecha animation is so clunky it reminds me of Transformers even though I never watched the 80s show. Also the MC pulling the "No Means Yes" routine to court the show's main girl is not something I want to be seeing.

Kei fucks.

7 episodes. Still bitter that the love triangle drama started with Kei forcing himself on Mimsy, but the other episodes so far thankfully aren't dwelling on that detail. Also surprised that Kei actually explains to her "No, I'm not interested Mhoohm/Mome, I don't have a Lolita Complex" when Mome tries to court him.
