Okay so after giving it some thought i can now elaborate on why currently SRW Y, despite welcoming it, is dissapointing.

Is a SRW game, by that i will end up buying it, cause i really like the franchise. That said the artstyle this time around looks to be like the one in SRW T which isnt bad imo, im just biased because it isnt Z trilogy animation which i think is the best in the series to date. Idk about yall but i wanted an OG main line game, maybe follow up after the events of Moon Dweller. Hell i wouldnt mind a collection of the main line games for pc. The series shown are just okay, i love code geass, but Resurrection didnt need to be here, G-Gundam was probably added to ride the wave of the new novel thingy, G-Witch was inevitable. The others are okay although looking forwarx to getter Arc. I dont like the text boxes since they look basic(?) They feel like they took a basic template and rolled with it. The MC suits, i dont like their designs and making them "Ninja" was a weird choice(they will never top my nigga Big Volfogg) but i do loke the MC designs and there are 3 this time so maybe they do something like they did with SRW J.

Overall im looking forward to it and for my WL mechs, i hope we get Swordgrader, any of the braves, Bravern, Gridman Universe and Garamdoll.

They seem to be invoking the Gran Troopers, except these got G-Cucked so they're not that good.

I want Mighty Rising Freedom and for the Accords to be a Shadow Mirror front group. Bravern could be a very advanced Brave robot that traveled back in time to stop some internal war the Braves got involved in (perhaps what Sworgrader is leading up to?), chose Smith as its host to hide in, and the Deathdrives were evil Braves that followed Bravern back to destroy him. Baan Gaan could fit in very nicely with Bravern as well; perhaps the Deathdrives could be in league with Grandark and Baan Gaan/Mach Sperion could be the ancestors of Bravern and Superbia.
 
It is the birthday of this character. Best girl to a lot of fans.

as much as I like THE WAY IT WAS the idea of Byston Well looking way different from normal stuff is fine by me

more robot stuff should branch out into different looks, like that minute or so of Char vs Amuro from the... I think first Keroro movie? one of the k66s, had a really cool look different from even the weirder Evolves
 
Playing SRWZ and reading a Let's Play for it is getting me interested in Zambot 3, and I hate myself for it. It's already forced me to watch all of Overman King Gainer, and now I have to watch another anime to quiet the voices in my head when I'm supposed to be watching Aura Battler Dunbine?! Please, God, stop the voices already! It hurts!!!

Z's a fantastic game. Such a killer series list. It's the last time that Banpresto was really firing on all cylinders when it comes to the non-OG games.

The Z trilogy is fucking fire and has imo the best attack animations.
 
Aura Battler Dunbine is ruining me. Since I torrented the show onto my computer, I feel compelled to watch it before I'm allowed to start on anything else, even though Diebuster is screaming at me about how fucking necessary it is to watch it for the sake of the new Gundam. It doesn't help that I'm only here because I was too fucking chickenshit to watch Ideon like a real Aryan would do.
 
Are we going to finally get a non-Armageddon Shin Getter Robo? We’ve been listening to the same rendition of Heats since Z2.1, and there’s finally a great excuse to use the crazy ass manga version of Ryoma.

Besides that we’re still overdue on Hathaway’s Flash making an appearance. So there’s that, at least.

Ideon's a pretty easy watch. It really feels like a remake/second attempt at Gundam, since it was produced in that short period after Gundam was cancelled but before it found its audience. Most of what Tomino was trying to say in Gundam (and continued to try to say in later works) is most in focus in Ideon, I feel. In terms of scenario too, it retains and amps up the "bunch of rookies and noncombatants are forced to operate a military vehicle" concept that characterizes the beginning-middle of Gundam.

The show does have the most non-ending of any ending ever, though. Plenty of shows have this, and always for the same budget related reasons, but this is the ultimate example in my eyes. It cuts out at the climax and the narrator basically just says "well, a bunch of stuff happens after this and it's totally crazy, trust me." Be Invoked rectifies this of course; it's a must watch if you watch the show, because there isn't even the semblance of an ending otherwise.

It also has the best soundtrack of its era, which is saying a lot because almost every one of the shows from this period have great BGM. Sugiyama Koichi worked like he had everything to prove, since he was trying to force his classical style into as many pop culture avenues as possible. It might actually be the best score to an anime up to that point.

Shin Getter Tarak will probably be playable. But, since its Arc, the original Shin Getter's too busy fusing with Mars to be playable.
