Looking at this again this definitely strikes me as a spinoff, not a sequel.

Which is totally fine, it's just that Peter Parker's story was clearly not done after the end of Spider-Man PS4, if this is just something to tide us over until a full Spider-Man 2 then I don't mind playing as Miles for a whole game.

They even borrow the winter setting from the Arkham Origins spinoff.
 
Don't mind a Miles Morales Spiderman game. He's been a thing for 9 years now, only kinda getting mainstream exposure with the Spider verse film. Sadly this is the time where Morales will be a BLM protestor beating corrupt cops and a Trump expy who wants to kill illegals.
 
Not surprised he got his own game, they were definitely going that direction with the last one. Should be fun if the gameplay is similar, maybe they could improve the swinging a bit.
 
PS5s only big feature is an SSD

Spiderman sequel is just an expansion of previous gen game

Somehow next gen is going to be worse than this one isnt it?

That being said game should be fun but also should be on ps4

It's the base game+all the DLC+Extra Episode on the disc.

I don't think it's going to be a full priced 60 dollar game because TLOU:Remastered was the same deal and I think that was 40 or 50 upon release and quickly got reduced to 30.
 
I'm not surprised it's just a port since TLOU had the same thing going on when PS4 was just coming out. They'll prob sell it at 50 with maybe some special edition going for 60-80.

Considering Insomniac is doing the new R&C game I'm looking more forward to that. That game looks like a total return to form that the remake on PS4 couldn't capture.

This was heavily set up in the last game so I don't get why anyone would be upset about it though I'd prefer more Parker.

I’m guessing it’s gonna be an Arkham Origins type game that reuses assets from the first game with maybe one smaller new area (not necessarily a bad thing since I actually like Origins).
