I watched the entire movie on Youtube last night, the cam rip they used was really high quality, video 7 audio 7 kind of deal. Highly enjoyed the movie, but calling it a movie is a bit disingenuous. Its essentially a series of scenes to play reddit jokes, but it worked for me and I liked the ending. If you have been burnt out on superhero movies lately, and wanted something that just straight up makes fun of them, I would recommend it.

The comic they shared was pretty fun
Both of them are compulsive wise-crackers so must be pretty full-on. At completely opposite ends of the morality spectrum, though.

In the game Marvel's Midnight Suns (which deserved far more success but I've sperged on that before), you get Spiderman and Deadpool interacting as they're both part of the supporting cast. The dialogue if/when you recruit Deadpool is quite funny.

Deadpool: "So I kinda need somewhere to hide out after this.
Blade and Caretaker on comms: "No!"
Hunter <selecting dialogue choice>: "You could come back to the abbey and assist us."
Capt. Marvel, Blade and Caretaker on comms: "NO!"
<Deadpool enters portal to abbey>

and later on:

Deadpool: "So my client was a very scary Eastern European gentlemen.
Blade: "Tell me it isn't Doom."
Deadpool: "I can't divulge his name but he does like green."
Capt. Marvel: "You were working for DOOM?"

That game has more character dialogue than any game I have ever played. Like, hours of the stuff. Total Marvel fandom stuff.

Seems like kind of a bad sign that they're relying on Fox nostalgia instead of hard rebooting like they did with Spider-Man (initially). I assume the old FF movies are too shitty even by current MCU standards and we'll not be discussing them further.
There is the slight problem of Chris Evans (Captain America) being Johnny Storm (Human Torch) in those FF movies. With him wanting out of the Disney MCU, trying to bring him back as another comic book character isn't going to fly. Plus the Hellen Keller* normies will be wondering why Captain America is now flying around while completely on fire instead of playing frisbee with his shield.

*Deaf, blind and dumb
Well these comments certainly aged. Late 2023 was a more innocent time.

How are we still arguing stuff like this?

I hate that argument. The difference is so obvious:
Deadpool is presented as the butt of the joke, you see him and you're supposed to say "oh, what a whacky retard he is, how embarrassing the things he does".
She-Hulk is presented as admirable, you see her and you're supposed to say "oh, what a cool and empowered girl boss she is, how relatable the things she does".

One is a dance scene in the midst of a brutal fight using a nostalgic 2000s song, the other is lets twerk with this random celeb. Just taking in the context, the Deadpool scene is way more absurdist given that he is executing people while dancing, meanwhile, She-Hulk just twerks in an office building because Meghan Thee Stallion is there.

Because Zoomers are fucking retarded.

Deadpool uses a nostalgic 2000s boy band with (effective) comedic intent during an absolutely BRUTAL fight with mooks and is known for doing retarded goofy shit like this.

Jennifer is a known lawyer, much more serious character (than they actually portrayed her as), and here all she's doing is shaking her ass with a "musical" (and I use the word loosely) celebrity (I use that word loosely too, because I don't know anyone outside the black community that listens to this cunt).

Coming back from the Deadpool & Wolverine movie, I have to say that I really enjoyed the fight scenes. That fight in the Nissan utilized the car for comedic moments as well as being used as part of the fight itself.

My favorite clip that I saw from the She-Hulk series was the one where her cousin is trying to instruct her on how to keep from Hulking out and she goes into this spiel:

"Well, here's the thing, Bruce, I'm great at controlling my anger, I do it all the time. When I'm catcalled in the street, when incompetent men explain my own area of expertise to me. I do it pretty much every day, because if I don't, I'll get called 'emotional' or 'difficult', or might just literally get murdered. So I'm an expert at controlling my anger because I do it infinitely more than you!"

That moment ends with her snarling "I'M GREAT AT CONTROLLING MY ANGER" through gritted teeth as her eyes bulge out of their sockets. Written, and executed with zero awareness, self- or otherwise.

Some are using films like TLJ and Matrix Resurrections to critique D&W for its apparent nostalgia-pandering.

Having seen D&W last night and unfortunately seeing Matrix Resurrections, these fucking retards miss the goals of both.

D&W comes off as a swansong to the older comic book films and hits its notes well. I didn't find it perfect, but it does its job. Every character they brought back still acts like how they did in their previous films while the new characters hit their mark. Everyone comes off as having a great time being in the film, especially Channing Tatum. The behind the scenes footage from the various movies they played in the credits was an excellent touch.

Resurrections tries to continue a story that ended but didn't know how to do it. Naiobi contradicts her actions with her words at every opportunity. Agent Smith being brought back makes no sense given his actions across the previous films. Not-Morpheus can't decide if he wants to ape Morpheus or be bored out of his skull in his scenes. The stylization of the characters in the Matrix don't even attempt to go for the cyber-gothic looks in the previous films. Despite Carrie Anne Moss being one of the highlight performances in the film, Trinity's resurrection makes no sense since she didn't die within the Matrix. The new way the machines can hunt down the cast in the Matrix is on paper more effective and dangerous, but even the background characters walk it off without a scratch every time. Regardless of what you think about Keanu's acting, you can tell he was not enjoying himself with his performance outside of his scenes with Carrie Anne Moss. There's only two things generally enjoyed across the film; Merovingian's cameo as a hobo spewing his hatred of Neo in French, and the fact Keanu Reeves donated his entire paycheck to charity.

They are seething because D&W was made for its viewers to enjoy. They hate the idea of anyone in general, but especially chuds who like comic book movies, enjoying anything at all. They like movies like Matrix: Resurrections or TLJ because those hate their audience and specifically seek to inflict misery on them.

Deadpool is known for being wacky, She-Hulk (for the most part) isn't. Apples and oranges
She-Hulk is absolutely known for being wacky. Half the complaints about modern She-Hulk from the fanbase is that she isn't wacky enough. She-Hulk twerking is gay and cringy as is Deadpool violently beating up goons while dancing to literally the only fucking 'N Sync song that anybody actually remembers.

I really hate defending these faggots' viewpoints but you're not understanding what they are arguing.

The Matrix Resurrections, according to them, is an intentionally unsatisfying crock of shit where it's intended as an ultimate "fuck you" to people expecting nice nostalgia baiting and making the meta point that this kind of dead horse beating needs to stop being rewarded. Deadpool & Wolverine is basically the exact thing that TMR shits on according to them, a soulless cash-in on nostalgia and bastardizing earlier media for memberberries that pretends to be a meta commentary criticizing this kind of shit but actually playing it completely straight.

The plot and characterization is not the point here, not that D&W had one outside of "hey, remember [insert reference here]?" every few minutes.
