At least he puts them out of their misery right after that (fuck me these movies need an R version).
@Nick Obre
that first page is from the Ultimate continuity. Im pretty sure mainline Prof. X isn't telekinetic
You're right, it is.
And the second picture I've come to remember is Cable actually doing the TK.
There's been other ambiguous instances, like him casually levitating a pendrive early into the Krakoa era, but it could be said it was Magneto and he just received it, or pictured on the third image, disassembling Nimrod, some have said it's just a "psy blast", which I don't buy, but it's a possibility (incidentally, very early in X-Men history, Xavier attacks a Sentinel with his mind powers; how does a telepathic attack affect a robot I don't know, but it could be considered an early manifestation of low level telekinesis).
And then you have Cassandra, who is supposed to have the same powers as Xavier, if only maybe stronger or just
unrestrained, having TK.
But if before it wasn't unambiguous that he has TK, it is now:
Thing is, this is very recent. It could be that the writers got confused (like me!) with Ultimate Xavier. Or it could be that Krakoan resurrection has a side effect (as seen with Synch) of some powers getting upgraded or
bug-fixed, in which case Xavier had it, just weak, and now it's more significant.
Edit: proof:
