Morph's back... and now he's non-binary. That term definitely didn't exist in 1997.

Did they really skip casting Jim from The Office just to appease their quota? I get that Pascal is contractually obligated to Disney/Star Wars, but knowing how these movies are, he's going to be a spineless character who relies on Sue for everything.
Knowing Pedro's typecasting, Mr. Fantastic is going to be a father figure since all Pedro plays nowadays are Dads. He's a good actor, but he is one of the two notable actors right now notoriously typecasted in a very specific role (the other being Giancarlo Esposito who is forced to just be Gus from Breaking Bad.)

The minute I saw the trailer drop I thought to myself "Okay, who are they making gay in this reboot?" Surprised it wasn't Jubilee. Having short hair or any semblance of attitude usually means a character was gay the whole time when it comes to reboots.

You're gonna have a pretty tough time convincing anyone that THIS GUY is androgynous.

There's a nonzero chance they're going to try and write some kind of romance subplot between him and Wolverine to soften Wolverine up for being too masculine and toxic.

I'll miss Storm's flowing mane. Never much liked the mohawk look.

If you thought X-Men 97 wasn't going to have any of this social engineering bullshit, I'm going to steal the rock you're living under. Given Disney's written creative guidilines, you need to have a pandering quota.

Fun fact: Wolverine is a devout Christian in this universe. Who wants to bet they made an episode with him becoming an atheist and denouncing God?
You mean Nightcrawler.

Wolverine had a scene at the end of one episode of him doing some praying but claiming the man very noticeably coveting another man's wife and being completely down with murder was a devout Christian is not quite right.

Making Nightcrawler renounce God seems likely though.

Im getting he-man vibes and that saddens me. The voices they got actually sound good. Ray chase is legit bringing it.

Morph could theoretically work... If they don't draw too much attention to it, he does look more like the comic version. I don't trust them though.

No. I do mean Wolverine. Besides Christians sin all the time and they are flawed too like any other human being. So that is accurate.
