Surely this is by design. “Star” actors run the risk of getting too uppity for the tastes of Hollywood jewlords, even if they draw more eyes by their very existence. Seems like a gamble they made to centralize power that isn’t quite working out like they expected.Does Hollywood even have star power anymore? There's a massive ongoing generational gap in making new identifiable actors after a lot of 80's-90's actors retired. They tried to use Game of Thrones actors instead but they all bombed and the series ending badly removed them from public consciousness
