Jonathan Majors Dropped by Manager Entertainment 360 Following Domestic Violence Charges

Dindu Nuffin
It’s wild how he went from being in two blockbuster movies (Creed III and Ant-Man and The Wasp) to now being dropped like he was just yesterday‘s news. I’m sure Michael B. Jordan is just shocked by this.

Recast. Can't decide if I want Freckled Jesus or Phoebe Waller-Bridge to be the new Wang.
I say go full Tropic Thunder and just rehire Robert Downey Jr in blackface. Least then we’d have someone not likely to fly off the rails.

Realistically, I think they’re fucked no matter who they hire - they went all in on Majors, and it’s coming back to bite them in the ass.

I swear 2023 is the year of cursed Disney because they cannot catch a break. Now this came to light at the end of last week.

Guardians is expected a less than $100 million opening. It's no stranger now that Marvel films since Phase 4 drop off really quickly in a week actually. Thor had a stupid 75%, The expected is about 50-60%. Guardians had numerous long reshoots easily amounting to 50 million on top of a robust 200 million estimated ofc. This is before marketing which for this film has been silent in Europe at least. They think the film will market itself as Avengers did but that is not the case.

I was really surprised actually as the Guardians films did not make as much as I thought 600 mil and 850 mil. This will clearly make less and I think it might not even see 500 due to how bad BP2 was to the audience's expectations. Saldana and Pratt have been burnt by Disney and seemingly have not been marketing at all and I don't blame them honestly. Zoe is pretty based and Pratt is a chad, they let Ellen Page fuck over him spreading shit and paralyzing him

Disney is the space of 4 years fucked over their talent by a mix of over-working them and forcing them to adhere to their retard politics. RDJ clearly will not return as will Evans and Hemsworth and Jeremy want out. Johanson ofc and justifiably hates them.

Finally, Majors is their biggest problem is absolutely a problem of their doing. They hyped up and pooled so many resources into a Z list actor. The guy was famous for Lovecraft Country which bombed. THEY CAST THE GUY WITHOUT A FUCKING AUDITION APPARENTLY!!!!!

How could you be so stupid?! Just give it to Idris but I think he does not want the politics to be honest.

Given how much Disney loves to suck the Sino peen, I wonder if they've ever heard of the concept of the Mandate of Heaven. When disaster after disaster struck an Imperial dynasty, that was a sign that the Emperor had lost Heaven's blessing and needed to be overthrown.

They have text messages of him bragging about beating the shit out of women and laughing about it.

There is also allegedly evidence that Disney knew about his violent and misogynistic behavior prior to hiring him so no surprise they want to bury this as quickly as humanly possible.

It will be interesting to watch what happens to Disney this year, for sure. I don't think they have the cash to prop up all of the bombs they are going to have, like they have done in the past. I'm sure they will do whatever it takes to prop up Marvels, and pretend like it got $1B, because so much of their future relies on that being perceived as a hit. But they are going to need cash to shore up SO many things that are losing them money (Reedy Creek, Star Wars, Disney+). They've already fired everyone they possibly can from the parks, and are already charging so much for stuff that people have stopped paying for ANY extras, I'm not sure where they're going to get it from. Even Blackrock is too cash-poor to bail them out.

If Desantis were smart, he'd be kicking the shit out of them financially while they are down, forcing them to wholesale remove their leadership. Fortunately, for them, he's as inept as they are, so they will get a respite from any State shenanigans (other than the ones they are already shelling out for). I suspect the Fed will have to step in at some point since Disney is To Big to Fail (TM), and they're on the same team, but if that gets any attention, it could be trouble, since bailing out an entertainment firm (especially one that even normies don't like anymore) is different than bailing out a bank or auto manufacturer.

At least that will be entertaining to watch, unlike literally anything they've produced in the past few years.

I think draining them in every financial avenue is part of deSantis' tactic as anyone will tell you their model is unsustainable. They are already suffering from the leaky ship scenario more holes just speed it up. Another issue is that the merchandising is doing awful with Hasbro and Mattel reporting losses with park attendance down. No marketable characters = no merch sales.

I think the kicker will be in 2024 with Universal Epic Worlds, apparently, construction has been hastened on Mario World, according to a friend of a construction worker who was on That Park Place. I believe that 100% as he went into the details Universal paid about 20 million to hire more people/equipment. Universal in 2 years has outpaced Florida Disney attendance except for Magic Kingdom. They must be really hurting though because of the layoffs and they have to find 5.5 billion to trim.

Here are my estimations of Marvel's following releases;
  • Secret Invasion - will have strong weeks 1 and 2 but fall off fast. It will bomb sadly as SLJ will get cucked again.
  • The Marvels - 200 million global, it will be a spectacular bomb.
  • Guardians 3 - 650 million, they will then speed it up by coming to Disney Plus to lock in Secret Invasion subs as they fear it will get Ms Marvel fanfare.
  • Loki 2 - will get pushed to spring 2024 due to reshoots after firing Majors, reshoots are incredibly expensive and the show will be an incredible loss. Tom Hiddleston at this point I think has a contract renewal.
  • What if season 2 - Delayed to 2024 or December out of panic, show will bomb again as S1 generated no excitement and will get cancelled.
  • Echo - delayed til 2024 due to reshoots and rewriting of scenes due to the marvels failing.
  • Ironheart - will massively bomb even though out the shows she is easily the best actress. It stopped filming in November 2022 but I think it will get further reshoots.
  • X-men 97 - will be the only successful thing and they will push merch hard like omega hard sadly it is not out til 2024 as it was delayed.
  • Agatha will get scrapped as it has not even begun filming and is ripe for cutting.
  • Captain America 4 - $400 million and will not even break even, it came out way too late and at that point, Endgame would have been out 5 years. I would not be surprised if there are reshoots either and it's pushed back to August 2024.
  • Thunderbolts - delayed til late 2024/25 or may even get axed at this point. No one is interested in this film. £300 million and that is being generous, this film has Eternals written all over it.
  • Blade - though it starts filming soon a script has apparently not been agreed to. It has dumpster fire written all over it, a trailer will release and fans will be pissed boycotting it. Ali will be OK as he has been vocal about bad writing, he is being like Cavil currently. I think 500 million IF the trailer is good.
  • Deadpool 3 - will have production hell as they will try to force themselves on Ryan's project which he is very protective of. Jackman is only doing this film for Ryan too and I think it is going to be hell. It's the reason why Deadpool 1 was so late because Fox trying to force direction. This will however be the only successful Marvel film in nearly 3 years.
I do think next week they will announce Majors firing which will shaft a lot of projects, F4 will be canned.

I didn't realise how little advertising GOTG3 has gotten over here in the UK. Think I've seen the trailer...once, about a month ago? Previous Marvel films have been all over my local cinemas, but now it just feels like they're only advertising The Flash over and over and over and...

I was going to say the same thing. He's definitely not crippled to the point he can't walk. But I could see him stepping back from doing action stuff after the incident.
There's a big difference between hobbling down a red carpet and sitting the rest of the night compared to shooting a movie
