They were clearly angling for Secret Invasion to originally be a feature film but probably Igor forced them to make it a series. You just don't cast Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman and do nothing with them, they are some of the highest-paying actors in TV and Film.

I just don't fucking understand the point of hiring expensive actors and shoving them on a dying platform. Disney+ is losing subs far more than Netflix because, unlike Disney+, Netflix focuses on the catalog and maintaining it, and overall the quality of their shows is better. Perlmutter was against these huge budgets because they were uncontrollable and giving your creators the chequebook is retarded. We know the audience size too by Ms Marvel and how badly it was viewed, 775,000 households watched episode 1 and we don't know if that is complete or repeated viewings. Disney+ on the release of Ms Marvel had 164.2 million subscribers. That is barely 0.5% of your user base. It is thought the show could have had a budget of 25 million per episode meaning in total Ms Marvel is predicted to cost 300 000. 100 000 million more than House of Dragon Season One. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!!!!!

I've seen very little discussion for The Marvels and most of it is the equivalent of a shrug. There just isn't that much passion or interest for the MCU for people to rant and rave about the movie this time around. I guarantee those tweets (and inevitable upcoming articles) whining about hate were written well before the trailer dropped.
 
It's great because you know journoscum actually think the movie is dogshit when they have to claim that incel manbaby women haters are upset but have absolutely no tweets or comments to justify it.

Unironically I would love to see Ioan Gruffudd as Mr. Fantastic again. And possibly push for the Maker storyline.

It's a scam.

Online subscription services utilizes classic content monopolized by dead hand copyright laws to get people to buy the service. The appeal of Disney+ is you can literally have thousands of priceless works of American cinema at your finger tip. Due to forced obsolescence of DVDs it is the only way without breaking the law. Most of the Disney+ subscribers I know IRL have it for the kids shows and old movies/series they love.

The scam is taking people paying for X content and redirecting profits from investing in X content instead into Y content. It's why woke doesn't necessarily mean broke.

Serously I didn't think an actor like this would fall so fast!! It's pretty ironic especially how the media kept pumping the guy as the next Denzel Washington because he landed a MCU gig.

From what I've heard, in their lizard circles it was known that he was a wahmen respecter, so their fault for not pushing a nigger that wasn't a ball of rage.
