He was naked in a sheet like some kinda goblin-jesus so naturally it'd be weird and confusing to Harry.

What's fucking wild is we find out that ghosts are a fucking thing and Norman osborne showed up as a fucking ghost in the mirror he used to talk to himself in solely to push harry to break the mirror revealing the hidden goblin lair and we literally never see him again after that. You'd think like as harry was going to help spiderman Norman's ghost would show up and be like "HARRY NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING AVENGE ME HARRY AVENGE ME!" And then everyone goes "what the fuck a ghost goblin?!" or something funny like that.
They ripped that off from Spiderman TAS, but there it made sense, Norman was trapped in some interdimensional limbo and was communicating with reality through Harry, making him turn himself into the second Green Goblin.

Yeah I remember that whole situation where he made the chest mounted portal gun device and literally got fucking trapped in the void. IIRC the show got cancelled before they could complete that whole plotline cause MJ was also trapped somewhere in the void or some shit and they did that fakeout hydro-clone thing.

Looks like Marvel's got another anti Vaxx actress
They're probably end up killing her character now in AntMan 3.

What exactly are Robert Jr's political views? I know some years back he said he wasn't a liberal but he also appeared in an anti-Trump ad in 2016. But he's also defended people like Chris Pratt and I think he didn't attend the Biden fundraiser like some other Avengers stars did.

Fix it. Wrong chris. He always stood to me as a Libertarian.

But I am honestly curious whose the next marvel actor to get attack for wrong think now?

Anti-Trump Republican. When confronted on his political beliefs he kind of meandered and didn't give a clear answer, which seems like he's still a Conservative and simply didn't like how The Donald handled business. Generally in Hollywood, all but a handful of Conservatives will kind of deflect the politics questions whereas the Libs will go full blast with it.

Him and Pratt are the only marvel actors that I can think of who are conservative leaning. I'm pretty sure everyone else is liberal or political silent.

It is literally safer to be a convicted pedophile in Hollywood than being pro Trump.
Exactly that's what I mean. I wouldn't be shocked if some of the Marvel actors who are silent are secretly conservatives but see what happens to Pratt and don't say anything because of it.

@Glowie Hunter Art Bell Tagging you here because if you wanna talk about the MCU, this is the thread for it.
Haven't seen a superhero movie since fantastic four. The Gf wants me to check out the marvel movies of recent years, so she's showing me her favorites.

Captain America was pretty bleh and weak, and Avengers was super weak and had wierd plot holes and illogical things happening.

Captain America, Winter Soldier was actually really good tho. And the whole "there's a secret entity taking your freedoms" idea was not something I expected in a modern movie.

That's as far as we have gotten. Havent run into the SJW shit yet but I can definitely see the beginnings of it
I’m someone who never really bought into the hype but found the movies enjoyable enough to watch/discuss with friends.

Through Phase 2 (which ends with Ant-Man), honestly the only ones I’d say hold up as actual good movies in their own right are Iron Man 1 (what did you feel about that one? It’s my favorite MCU movie by far), Winter Soldier and GOTG (to an extent). It’s apparently an unpopular opinion, but I agree that the Avengers movie sucked ass, I hated it when I first watched it. Personally I also really liked Iron Man 2 and even 3 to a lesser extent, but I’m not about to defend those as good movies.

Iron Man 2 and 3 imho biggest sin is the wasted missed opportunity of doing the "Armor Wars" storyline. But instead in IM2 Tony gets neutered by Pepper and crawls into a bottle.

ID4 director Roland Emmerich says MCU and Star Wars are ruining the movie industry

While there are certainly still original movies out there, it’s hard to deny that much of the blockbuster landscape has been scooped up by Marvel movies, DC movies, and Star Wars movies. It can be hard enough for directors to secure financing for any ambitious project nowadays and Roland Emmerich told Den of Geek that the overabundance of Marvel, DC, and Star Wars movies are ruining the industry.

Roland Emmerich, king of the disaster movie, was asked if the genre he’s best known for has changed over the years.

Oh yes. Because naturally Marvel and DC Comics, and Star Wars, have pretty much taken over. It’s ruining our industry a little bit, because nobody does anything original anymore.
“You should make bold new movies, you know?” Emmerich continued. “And I think, actually, Christopher Nolan is the master of that. He is someone who can make movies about whatever he wants. I have it a little bit harder, but I still have a big enough name—especially when it’s a disaster [movie] or has some sort of disaster theme.” Roland Emmerich has previously said that he’s never been a big fan of Marvel movies and admitted to Den of Geek that part of the reason likely has to do with growing up in Germany. It took a while before superheroes gained any traction in the country, but even when they did, Emmerich just didn’t have any interest in them.

While I think Most of Nolan's films including Inception are absurdly far up their own assholes, yea in general I agree. Even non Marvel movies are starting to adopt the "dude 80's music and 100,000 snarky quips!" shit that makes everything feel really samey and generic.
I thought Tenet was garbage, but I’ll happily rewatch that over any of the new MCU movies any day of the week.

I haven't gone to a movie theatre since the MCU exploded in popularity and it isn't because I became a cynical asshole who hates movies. They've absolutely had a negative effect on the industry.
