2007: Spider-man dancing in the streets is ridiculous! this is the dumbest marvel movie ever!

2013: star-Lord dancing in that ruined temple was awesome! GoTG is the best MCU movie yet!

2021: The dancing in spider-man 3 was harshly misjudged.


Funny how people's opinions can change over time isn't it?
 
The Ms Marvel trailer is bad. As someone who just passively watches the Marvel stuff. Can enjoy the shit out of End Game. Find the series a mixed bag and alright. That show just looks completely unapealing and all the woke virtue signalling comes off like it is saying, "this show isn't for you."

Don't like it, as someone who has liked the original Kamala comic. This seems like a bad mix of being kind of "mentally much stupider than a 16 year old" like the game coupled with the unwelcomed addition of making her more overtly a Captain Marvel sidekick (originally, despite the name the two barely interacted, much less shared a power set).

Obviously not going to go too hard that something that's very specifically targeted toward teenage girls looks bad, but it's a shame what they did to this originally very solid character. Another nail in a coffin of shit portrayals.

I'd take this with a grain of salt. Nobody except Bounding is reporting on it, and besides the 90 times they've reported "Disney DESPERATE To Axe Brie Larson?!" in the past 2 years, the only evidence they have is Marvel not immediately responding to some dildo with not even 8k Twitter followers.

I think you're a little paranoid about woke shit because the most it's doing it showing she's a Muslim from India or Bangladesh or something so you know her background. It may be a different story on Twitter, but you should know to avoid Twitter.

That's a shame they're targeting it toward teenage girls (but MLP was targeted toward little girls and we all know what happened with that). I don't read the comics and only have second hand knowledge about how bad the writing is, so was her series one of the few good ones if she's an actual solid character?

Remember woke is a term that everyone uses and interprets differently. So don't get hung up when someone else uses it.

It's everything, even the shitty cartoon lines in the trailer are differentiating it as being for a different audience than the other stuff.

That first run of Kamala comics was actually as good as Marvel wants people to believe the original Miles Morales shit was. The initial run was probably the closest they ever got to that feeling of an actual Spider-Man-like "teenager really wants to be a hero, but is still a kid so they're obviously shitty" vibe. It helped a lot that, at least for a while, they left the character to her own devices in her ow setting and didn't shit it up by flinging her with characters she didn't gel with in situations that made little sense for the tone they were going for.

I mean, until they immediately did just that. But for like a year or so boy did they have a charming little character on their hands.

Not really. I was stating my disagreement with your interpretation, not getting hung up on semantics, but maybe my tolerance is higher than yours. Though that shot of them praying at the mosque was a bit much.

Yes, but that's the thing, she's fired now that conveniently the show with the character she made is running high on Disney cash, so she can just sit on the royalties & never work again. In this case, she literally won when she got fired.

However, as you've seen in the trailer, Disney changed about 25% of her character, part of it comes from sprucing up her power set to look more flashy & to separate it from Mr Fantastic, so now she looks like Green Lantern. Part of it comes from appealing to pajeets, capeshitters, muslims (There's no Muslim named Kamala, I assure you), browns, women, you get the point.

However, they technically avoid paying any royalties to her cause of this. Not just Sana either, the other creator who apparently gave the idea was some fat white bitch who after going on vacation in Egypt got converted to islam by an Egyptian bull. I'm not even joking, check out G. Willow Wilson.

So if you’re gonna change the character and the power, why not just make a completely new character? This feels like if you made Superman a rich guy from the big city who got gravity powers from the moon, but still called him Clark Kent/Superman.

It was about the context of each individual scene which formed the opinions of them.
 
Also i know it's not MCU related but it is just so funny to watch x-men the last stand if only for one thing...ELLEN page playing a straight girl, in a romantic relationship with Bobby Drake. An irl actor, turned lesbian, turned ftm troon, playing the girlfriend of a fictional character who'd become a flaming homo married to another dude.

Hindsight is a total bitch sometimes...

I know Disney can get the USA government to bail it out of any financial trouble, but how is appealing to people who already give you their entire income can gain you any growth?
Arab countries will ban it, China and India will ban it, fucking Pakistan will ban it. Niggers won't see it because female main character. Asians won't see it because black character.

This is propaganda it's not being produced to be entertaining, it's not being produced to be profitable, it's being produced as progressive/globalist propaganda first and foremost. If it fails so what? Disney has more money than God and they can eat the cost and if they can't the government will bail them out because outside of Enron the U.S government has never ever let a giant corporation go under.
