Silent Hill is scary enough without that fucking thing coming at you out of the fog.
Chris's life is so fucked it could actually make for a good Silent Hill game now I think about it. Like SH2 was based around James Sunderlands trauma and guilt over killing his wife, Chris wouldn't have been out of place if he was one of the side characters James bumped into, or even as a protagonist... I wonder what the Silent Hill Daemon of Barbussy would look like?

Chris is a lot like Eddie from Silent Hill 2. A fat, childish oaf who thinks everyone else is out to get him rather than look at his own failings.

There would probably be deformed-looking, eyeless sonichu creatures as some of the enemies you face...sort of like sonichu versions of the "rompers" from the first game.
 
Prison would actually be good for Chris.

You know why those Prisoners win debate teams? Because they have nothing to do but read. That and git fit. Chris would have to wake up at Dawn, no naps, and either spend his time reading or building up muscles.

It would be the first time since High School he was forced to do anything productive. Despite what people think, if Chris HAS to do something he can do it same as anyone else.

TL;DR: He would actually be changed for the better.
