Life after prison - What happens if Chris is One Day released from prison

If he's released I think his life will mostly go back to what it was before, minus the presence of his mother's decrepit cadaver to keep him company. Even if he ruined his sources of revenue there's no shortage of enabling morons waiting out there, ready to crawl out of the woodwork to waste their money on Chris to make him produce shitty content. Meanwhile Chris will cling to his delusions with every fiber of his being since he's got nothing else of value in his life. I expect this will go on until he either accidentally kills himself and the cycle stops or commits yet another idiotic crime and the cycle resets.
 
I think alot depends on what sort of sentence he gets. If he gets out relatively soon, Weens will let him couch surf for years. If he gets out in like 8 years or something, nobody will really care anymore. The old weens will have moved on and with nothing interesting to follow, new ones won't form so he'll end up homeless. I definitely don't think Chris will end up in a mental facility. There simply isn't room for him.

It's funny that desperation for human contact of any kind brought upon by jail may be the first thing that has made Chris willing actually to deliver on commissions instead of just ripping people off. A man's gotta eat prison ramen.
 
At this point, the possibility that Chris goes back to 14bc but without Barb around seems plausible. If that’s the case, how do you think Chris’s life will be different this time around without her? (Excluding the obvious lack of incest.)

People on here tend to think that Barb placed absolutely no limits or restrictions on Chris due to age or apathy and Chris provided effectively zero assistance to Barb. I see why people think that but I think it’s safe to assume that Barb did control Chris’s behavior at least somewhat in the past. (If she became demented over time, Chris may not have had the capacity to realize this and assumed old restrictions and rules remained in place)

How do you think Chris will respond to his new “Home Alone” type of freedom in the event that is the housing arrangement?

I actually wonder if some really crazy ween would try to get moved in with Chris. Barb’s bedroom would be available and Chris is painfully easy to manipulate into free rent.
 
As others have said repeatedly Chris has no legal claim to the house. Barb would actually have to give it to him and that's not happening. It will either be sold now or later.

He'll probably get into some shitty halfway house in the city for ex-cons and mental fuckups. His movement will be restricted since those places have security guards. He'll still be on the Internet though.

As disgusting as it would be, you underestimate the dedication of some of his weens. You also underestimate how much one of them might think a rent free home would be. I don’t doubt for a moment that it would be really easy to convince Chris to let you live at his house for free.

It will be a lot easier to sell 14BLC if it isn't occupied by Chris.

Seriously, just imagine being the real estate agent trying to show the house with Chris living there.

Before the current situation that was one of my main concerns for Chris, that eventually it'd eventually turn into a crack den or whatever when a hot and desperate woman with a drug addiction came into Chris’s life after Barb died.
 
If it were up to me I'd set him up in one of those collective housing for special needs people: autism, Down syndrome, etc.
I want him to realize ( :optimistic: I know) that not only he's no better than the "slow-in-the-mind" he looks down to, but that they actually accomplish more than he ever did. Who knows.. maybe his pride will push him to do better (:optimistic: :optimistic: )

She probably wouldn’t need to be “hot”.

With a drug addiction, she probably would not be fat, so low average or better would be enough.

The only way she could be fat and an “addict” would be if she was one of these crazy fat controlling women who eat tonnes of junk food and hit oxy all day long.
Chris would not last long with one of those.

If my old coworker is to be believed, you have to pay to stay at a halfway house. His was 100 a month and he had to have a job that was outside of the living space. I don't think Chris could pull that off but it's probably different in Virginia.

That would be a bittersweet ending. This song and dance has been going on for over 20 years, but at the same time its longevity makes it too hard to let go of

I'd also point out there are more than a few weens whose hygiene is hardly any better than Chris'.

We have seen considerably worse among his orbiters.

Jesus Christ, how haven't they foreclosed yet? But then again, that means the mutts and Chris' menagerie of stolen animals be put down. Also, Barb gets taken care of by family.
