Not even that, I should be able to get that tax break even as part of a non sexual or non romantic binding contract of mutual cohabitation and pooling of resources. Same with a tribe, I want to start a casino out of my backyard.

I remember for the longest time, the downside to not being able to get married as gays was the fact that you have no say when your partner is in the hospital.

My mom didn't bother to teach me anything past the first grade, so I taught myself how to read. I don't think my reading comprehension is that bad; it's just that you type in a confusing way. For example, I didn't know if you were just referencing Ted Haggard or comparing me to him.

I'm actually from Texas, so our public schools are more politically conservative, but my mom was afraid that if I went to public school, I would get exposed to "bad influences" or I would get bullied or raped or whatever thing she was paranoid about at the time.

The problem with homeschooling is it's usually the parents, and you know- not actually trained people who were taught how to teach. People like to trash teachers, but they're actually qualified in teaching, and the parents aren't. Or you get that Gothard religious bullshit which if you haven't read up on the fundie scandals, it's obvious why that has failed.

She was a horrible teacher. She actually paid for online homeschool lessons and then paid people to cheat at them so she could pretend she was teaching me.
