Just remember that Kyary Pamyu Pamyu was outed to be a pedophile who included very young boys on her concert tours and preyed on them and nothing happened, and she also knows these girls. Sounds like schizoposting but worth a reminder that these things are very much ignored as a problem especially in eastern asia.

It all kinda reminds me of Donnie Darko, Sparkle Motion and the pedo played by Patrick Swayze.

I wonder what the true offence rate is among Women.

I wouldn't be shocked if a LOT more women than assumed are predators, but due to stereotypes about females and/or outdated rape laws (e.g. only penile penetration from the aggressor counting legally as rape) the reporting is basically non-existent.

On a more wholesome theme. This is perhaps one of the biggest stans captured on Television. A small Kpop idol who models himself after KangTa of H.O.T, a male KPOP group of the 90's shows up on a survivial show. With KangTa acting as judge.

Yang Hyun-suk was previously the CEO of YG Entertainment, one of the biggest Kpop companies in South Korea. The story about how he met is wife Lee Eun Ju is pretty creepy.

unnamed.jpg

When their relationship officially began in 2002, Lee Eun Ju was 20-21 and Yang Hyun Suk was 32-33, but Yang Hyun Suk’s interest in his wife-to-be started long before then.

Yang Hyun Suk confessed that he had begun to like Lee Eun Ju after catching a glimpse of her on television. Cameras briefly captured Lee Eun Ju, the younger sister of former Sechs Kies member Lee Jae Jin, when Lee Jae Jin was giving a house tour. At the time, Lee Eun Ju was in her second year of middle school.

“The camera caught her briefly. About 3 seconds? I saw this little kiddo doing the dishes and I went, ‘huh?'” — Yang Hyun Suk

A few years later, in 1997, Yang Hyun Suk met and later recruited 16-year-old Lee Eun Ju as a YG Entertainment trainee.

The two began dating 5 years later, after Lee Eun Ju’s group, Swi.T disbanded. Yang Hyun Suk told the cast that Swi.T was only one of two YG Entertainment groups that had failed, and this was partially due to his lack of effort.

Yang Hyun Suk admitted that his lack of support for Swi.T was not entirely business related. When a fellow cast member suggested that Yang Hyun Suk had not wanted the group to succeed for fear that Lee Eun Ju would become popular, he agreed.

Yang Hyun Suk, who said he had a crush on Lee Eun Ju for three years before they began dating, described her as his ideal type.

“She was my type. Small and cute. She was the shortest in Swi.T […] and the youngest.” — Yang Hyun Suk

NewJeans is doing ridiculously well, not just stats wise, but marketing wise. Keep in mind this group already has a pop-up store and an ELLE photoshoot, and it's been 19 days since their debut. Their label Ador's CEO, must have some serious pull in the Kpop industry. I can't remember any group getting that sort of stuff 19 days in.

This thread is probably on one already. (:_(
They’re somehow worse than ‘00 weebs.

It wouldn’t surprise me. I had a babysitter, she didn’t do anything, but in retrospect I realize she had a vore fetish.

Just discovered this thread.
These little fucks are almost as obnoxious as online troondroids, and that's quite the achievement.
They exhibit same hive/swarm behaviors, they are all bigly into the latest online brainwashing ops, pronouns and all. They use abhorrent vocabulary.
Lastly, kpop sucks, and controversially, anime sucks too, at least the little I've seen. Japan's best exports are katanas, samurai, ninjas and imperially fucking up the Chineeses and Ruskies. Anime should be haram and Korean pop should suffer the same fate, and effeminate men should be sent to masculinization camps.
Cheers

Saw this not long ago and it makes me question if your average woman/gay man would really prefer some fruity plastic Korean soyboy over gigachad Cavill. I recall a time when weeby white girls in the western fandom around all things Asian would lament the whole thing around Asian men being seen as undesirable, but something changed around the mid 2010s and now every second female zoomer with a Twitter account is getting all hot and bothered over these dudes.

It could be an age thing - the K-pop fanbase does skew younger, and it's been pointed out before that most teenage girls prefer feminine men because they see them as non threatening, and as they hit adulthood their tastes mature.

Agreed, as someone who used to go all in for the weeb shit but outgrew it, except there's some alright anime and manga out there (not that I'm very up to date on it). Back in the day there was this overwhelming attitude of "K-pop/anime/insert Asian pop culture thing here is better than that American trash!" when they didn't realise that it's just the same shit in a different language. But the attitude does seem to have changed, even if East Asians for the most part don't give a damn about woke culture, you see zoomers praising Beyonce, Lizzo etc. as WOKE KWEENS while also simping for BTS or whatever other cookie-cutter K-pop group is being marketed to them.

I've noticed in the past few years theres been an increase in multicultural and LGBT stuff in Kpop music videos. At least as far as they can get away with in South Korean broadcast regulations.

Even if we consider those half plastic, half Asian dudes, this specific one is... eeeek. Hell, even in BTS, that guy has a pretty iffy nosejob and general face proportions.

Imagine rating Rap Mongrel before Cavill, roasties are simply delusional.

Animal Control crossover time!

With K-pop group LOONA doing concerts in Mexico, the #LOONAinMexico tag started trending on Twitter a few days ago. On August 28th, Mexican Twitter artist Inker_comics saw the tag trending in their country and made a quick joke doodle of Loona (goth hellhound furry from YouTube series Helluva Boss) literally in Mexico.

It didn't really receive a ton of attention until three days later, when more artists started drawing Mexican-themed art of furry Loona, including one that has almost 15,000 likes.

Circling back to the original Inker_draws tweet, you'll probably notice that it has over 400 quote tweets. No surprise, the vast majority of these are from stans of K-pop LOONA. They run the full spectrum, from confused to furious (no pun intended).
There are still tons more, this is a pretty large sampler.

TL;DR: K-pop stans getting incredibly upset over a meme that got started because two things have the same name.

K-pop fans and furry artists are joking the merge on Twitter, and it will create lots of milk for us on this site to delve into.

I think popularity plays a big factor in whos considered "hot" by the fans.

girls.jpg

All these girls come from most popular groups. While relatively unknowns in kpop don't appear in such lists. Even though objectively they are at least as pretty.
