He was under the clout category. He was doing nothing useful with them other than scaring them and spooking then enough to provoke attacks. Retard shouldn't have had them.
 
He's going for a rare triple whammy for lolcows. First, he gets a thread, then a Darwin Award, and then a Julay for lolcows of history.
 
TMI'ing a bit to just give my input. But holy shit this guy should be charged. I did volunteer work with a museum helping with their ambassador animals, which included snakes (non-venomous of course), and they would get bitey if it was anywhere near their feeding day. However, the museum did keep some local venomous species and got to observe how they handle them. It was really careful and they had 911 ready to dial on a phone. If I wanted to ever get the government to crack down on something, it would be these idiots who think they can handle snakes like this guy or the snake handling churches.
 
This is a true speedrun. I wish we'd gotten to know this one for longer, especially because I can stomach laughing at a snake abuser more easily than someone being cruel to mammals. So sue me, I'm on the side of the warmbloods.

The most beautiful animal I've ever seen was a huge red belly black, probably just a few minutes after it'd shed. It looked like fresh blood and clinker, and was higher than my waist as it made a threat display. I'd never seen colours that intense in nature before, not even on parrots.

Yeah, I gathered that. I'm gonna be one of the bleeding heart hippies that says it's a shame that all the animals had to be euthanized instead of given to professionals, but it's his damn fault for putting them in that situation and the city can't be blamed for not being prepared for it.

Most all professional herpetologists both make sure they have a way to get antivenin for the snakes they do keep, as well as going through all the loicensing that their local municipality/state requires for it.

I hope this fucker enjoys the dialysis he's going to be on forever if he somehow does die. I don't like people that keep animals like Funko Pops. ygwyfd


if his kidneys aren't producing urine... Where the hell does the liquid go
 
i like to imagine that he got brought to a hospital for the nurses to administer anti venom but he says “i’m not a fuckin pussy” and walks out
 
When you own amphibians and reptiles one of the first things you know about them is how they can affect other people based on your cleanliness. so like when you handle my Pacific Tree Frog you have to wash your hands and sanitize them because if you touch my gecko thereafter you can give him an allergic reaction or if you rub your eyes or your nose you yourself will have an allergic reaction because Pacific tree frogs secrete crap through their skin.

this asshole deserves to suffer lol. these arent domesticated animals, they will hop around jump or bite you

It's a bad situation all around. The snakes are dead, he's probably dead, if he doesn't die, his kidneys need replacement because yeah, where is the piss going? He literally contributed nothing but death and suffering by having those sneks. If anything he's taking from the system if he gets his kidneys replaced.
 
People who keep snakes, lizards, insects and all those other animals that can NOT bond with humans because they simply are missing that part of the brain that lets normal pets form an emotional connection with their owner are fucking nuts and retarded. These are wild animals, not pets and keeping them because you think they are "cool" or "pretty" is cruel and selfish.

Even if he isn't, I think the snake inflicted a far worse punishment on him than the courts could.

Though if courts could sentence someone to a lifetime of being a spazzed-out cripple who can only communicate by gurning, I would be in favour of that for certain crimes, such as raping children, mass shootings or cutting me off in traffic.

Well, he's not going to the top of the donor list. Iirc you have to wait an average of 5 years for a replacement.

I had a neighbour friend growing up who was seemingly normal until one day we saw a harmless water snake and this girl left and came back with a shovel and went complete ape-mode on this thing like she was performing an ancient ritual. Never did hang out with her again after that. People who kill harmless things purely out of fear should be looked at with suspicion. Obviously, venomous snakes can be a different story, especially if you have children, pets, livestock around and I don't fault anyone for protecting their space and those in it, but people need to be mindful that native snakes are important members of their ecosystems and, as in your scenario, removing them can have consequences for the food chain. Invasive species can go though.

Edit: I would enjoy a PetTuber CW thread, they're all full of milk. Wasn't there a PetTuber woman who hoarded pets with an abusive boyfriend, both of whom were heroin addicts? I think I recall them from lolcow.

This is cruelty, this animal looks like it's suffering brain damage. It can't curl like snakes do and seems disorientated. Wow I feel bad for it. :(
