With the help of his lawyer, Michael Barry, Jeff Leibowitz has been legally reunited with his serval cat, Pouncer, following an approximately month-long legal battle since Pouncer was first seized.

UPDATE: Today, Mr. Leibowitz has founded a group on Facebook called "The Exotic Animal Advocacy Group", which he describes as being "aimed at protecting the rights of exotic pet owners, regardless of the type of animal owned".

Additionally, contradicting some statements by some alleging that Swaggers is deceased, Mr. Leibowitz stated in a Facebook comment that Swaggers is alive in Alabama and that he gets to see him on the weekend, divorced dad-style. However, Mr. Leibowitz has not been able to see Swaggers ever since Pouncer was seized.
