I don't like snakes, I consider them to be the biggest assholes of the animal kingdom. Never gotten along with one and I don't see the point of having them as pets.
Snakes are like the most passive lazy ass animals around, I dunno why you would think of them as assholes. they are just chill bros who like to sleep under rocks and eat mice and rats.
Sure you have the exception to the rules with like those giant invasive ones in florida but that is still a man made problem and not really fault of the snakes.

Snakes are bros and just like video games and being out in nature.

I dunno why you would think of them as assholes.
Every single pet snake that I was introduced to or tried to babysit/feed while a friend/family member was out of town tried to bite me upon first contact. Wether the owner was present or not. It was at least three of them, maybe more but I just never got along with them. Tried my best but oh well, I guess some animals just don't approve, simple as. Never had such a negative reaction from any other pet, even tarantulas and those things freak me the fuck out.

If you love snakes so much why don't you marry one like Dong Long Gone.

Sounds like you're a rat.

On topic: lol

How did this moron get his hands on an inland taipan, anyway? They're Australian, and they're the most venomous snake on the planet.
I've heard that no one has ever been killed by an inland taipan because they live in the middle of fucking nowhere and are very chill snakes.
If that's correct and he dies then this retard will have the honor of being the World First Inland Taipan Darwin Award winner.

It wasn't always illegal to export Australian native snakes out of the country. I think the laws changed in the 1970s, but don't quote me on that. In theory, all Australian native animals overseas are descended from captive bred individuals that were exported before it became illegal; in practice that's far from the truth, however.

This wanker's snakes being euthanised doesn't make much sense. There are nutjobs in the US who collect taipans and other very deadly snakes, apparently they are extremely rare and expensive animals, it surely wouldn't take too long to find someone who would happily take on unwanted animals. Even if it took some weeks, many snakes can go that long without food or water without too much trouble. If it's true that they were all euthanised, I suspect that they were either in very bad condition, or he didn't have the necessary licenses and couldn't provide proof that they weren't smuggled into the country in someone's underwear.

Unlike other snakes we have like the brown snake which is still incredibly venomous and super common and to a lesser extent ones like the red belly. We have a lot of pythons as well though stuff like Diamond and carpet pythons are commonly found by people around suburban areas.
Its still best assumed that every snake is venomous and everything you lift up in your shed has a brown snake under it.

Idk what it is with reptiles, but this hobby attracts just so many weirdos and "Hey, look at meee" types, it's kind of insane.

This guy is just one of many in this community from the impression that I've gotten.
I have two ( harmless ) corn snakes at home and while I was doing some research on ways to make their next enclosures nicer one evening, I've come across a guy that breeds pythons that commonly can't properly move/climb and wobble around like they have parkison's disease (but they're rly pretty and not ALL of them are horribly disabled, so it's okay guys), some guy with millions of subs that lost a finger to a cobra he was messing around with and some other dude that had the bright idea to jump into a murky pond with a crocodile to get it out and relocate it to somewhere else and got his leg bitten. Of course this moron insisted on not getting it looked at right away, jumped back into that nasty ass pond and continued to be a clown while endangering everyone involved.
The same guy later got also bit by a wild indian cobra bc he just had to pick it up and harass it, bc... reasons ig.

TLDR: I'm shocked we don't hear about these ppl ending up dead way more often.

Nooooo, I think I remember the Urban Rescue Ranch guy hanging out with him a few times. I didn't know anything about this guy and seeing him mess with animals for no reason is really infuriating.

People in the comments are saying that the serval ran away months ago and hasn't been found. Probably coyote chow by now.
I reckon a serval could hold it's own against a coyote. I bet it was either a bigger animal or that it was captured by humans and no one ever told
