I forgot to put this, hoppla! Attached Lipstik sporting Tompig. It's bad, but you know what? In the end: yesterday I practiced drawing. I shared a drawing.
Together we can all laugh at or be inspired by, or see 'hmm I really like how X did that picture, I want to try that myself!" from all the drawings here. Why would you rather waste your time arguing and making that fake Account rather than taking part in the fun and growth?

Now, Condor, to forgo details and be quick: I have Health issue that has caused eye disfunction. I took for granted my entire life good vision and being able to doodle and paint, work and drive. You still have healthy sight, why choose to be willfully Blinded by your own Ego or preconceived notions of 'art' when you draw? Making just plain bad drawings comes along with making good drawings. Just look even at professionals when they do what is called 'break out' drawings. Which taking is what you are working on and plunging head first in the complete opposite direction. Experimenting. Sometimes those are terrible, but working back you find bits and pieces of good to take forward.
If you have to compartment in you mind do it. Separate your posted 'art' from your practice sketches, take time for both but keep it separate in your mind if you need to justify it.
I have a professional illustrator freund who does this. Her job art is still art, but it is work art. Her personal art that she breathes and feels is different to her even if techniques are the same.

In some ways I see the same "fear" here as Connor has with writing. He does not want to write something subpar, you do not want to draw something that is not 'art'. In the first both things seem admirable at first glances, like someone who cares very much about what they do, but the ugly truth beneath the surface is it is just excuses to stay in your comfy rut and not try or improve.
That's such a waste.

Condor did not get in contact with me yet, so when the book does come back in stock and anyone here has been pining for it but doesn't have the funds please let me know and I can purchase it for. I have a digital copy as well. It is PDF though, because I do not have kindle. I can try to convert for you, though.

I might be very late to this, but I was surprised when I saw the title, because I (and some of my friends) actually used to be friendly with Condor before the whole thing kicked off.

On Skype where he was a very active part of our group chat. He was extremely clingy with us to say the least, which was worrying. Eventually we decided to cut contact with him as his constant outbursts of drama and sperging became too much, and we haven't talked to him since (though he has tried to contact us on numerous occasions).

Also, I actually frequent 'SSMB' and was there when the mods got tired of his shit and banned him (and Makronette). He tried convincing ne that he was banned unfairly, and basically implied that his ban was an inside plot among the site staff against him. Needless to say, it was all bullshit, I saw why he was banned and I completely agree with the SSMB staff's decision to kick him and the reasons for it. And lastly, the suicide threats. He made them all the time, and it got old really fucking fast because we knew that he was putting it on to try and get his own way with us. That was pretty much the straw that broke the camel's back for us before we ultimately just cut communication.

He does still try to contact me sometimes, but I usually choose to ignore him for obvious reasons.

I personally haven't seen his DA or Tumblr as I don't use them. I guess he was pretentious in the way that he was a massive attention-seeker, but he didn't really have an ego or anything like that in the smaller Skype chats that only consisted of a few of us. I can't really remember what he was like in the larger chats since I rarely checked them. I remember him arguing with other members after the SEGA forums incident though.

I don't necessarily hate this guy as much as the others but his art is kinda disturbing, like how females are in the bent "fuck me" position. He does sound like a hypocrite and someone to defend themself to no end, though.

I've never heard anything about sexuality from him, at least not in our chat. I'm not sure about that last part, I didn't pay that much attention to him before I cut contact so maybe I was missing something. Most forums at least have some sort of standard and rules, you dolt - a lot of them usually ban NSFW stuff for obvious reasons. You literally broke the rules of the forum, so S0LV0 removed the offending content, simple as that.

I know S0LV0, and we talk occasionally - she's the most "lewd" person I know, she even says it herself.

That aside I was really hoping @Cunning Condor wasn't real. I went out of my way to look for differences in their typing style, behavior and whatnot... I'm disappointed. For someone who claims to be so enlightened, you really aren't the brightest bulb in the shed.

I forget who was the one to say it, but I agree with whoever that said Condor's initial 'politeness' was his holier-than-thou attitude, just undetected because he wasn't as worked up at first, and perhaps that got everyone - myself included - optimistic.

Congratulations, Condor. Whoop-de-do. It's about time you got yourself into such a pickle.

In a nutshell, he's been shaming SSMB, as well as people who were (still are, post-downtime) part of the community, and implying that he was the one who orchestrated the whole thing. A member of both sites reported this to SSMB via public status updates, but it was taken down by the time I started writing this message, unfortunately.
It's kind of ridiculous to believe, granted, but considering he's at least claimed to know steganography (I know, it's been debunked) I'm not surprised - if nothing else - he's saying that he hacked a site*.

He's also been fasting... something (let me know if it requires an account - and don't ask me why I have one), and drawing as well, despite using unfamiliarity with digital art and lack of a scanner as excuses to not draw. SSMB as well as other sites run by Sonic Stadium went down due to a server crash, caused by general wear and tear. Condor is kidding himself if he thinks he has anything to do with it.

Just checked United again, and Condor's gotten himself banned from Sonic United as well. I can't say for sure exactly when this happened, but his dA journal might narrow the answers a bit.

Nice to see that he's avoiding saying he's legit banned by instead saying that:

I just don't feel very comfortable with being associated with that crowd. (I recently sealed this deal by exiting myself from one last little lonely corner on the information superhighway*.)

*To add clarity to this, I had myself intentionally exited from one last community after it had served its purpose for me, and I was basically scraping the barrel with studies there. Just to clear up any confusion the lasting members had.
