What does this say in regards to composition? Where in this did you talk about Unity, Contrast or Focus? Was there any explanation for why these 'scratches' on a canvas weren't appealing to you, in terms of how it was composed? Was the abstractness too much for you? This says absolutely nothing about what I asked. But I'll take this if you explain why those paintings weren't acceptable.

I prefer discussing artistic philosophy over artistic principles. It's more interesting to me.

God, I almost missed the scarring on her arms and ankles. Such a subtle detail that tells so much about the motivation in her actions. That's goddamn gorgeous. :heart-full:

It's not okay to make fun of your mom's lacklustre art skills. That would be like making fun of yourself. After all, she's where you got your lack of talent from.
