There are a lot of online dating apps with many of the more visible woman profiles saying "nobody below six feet" but that's Tinder for you. And if you're using social media as a benchmark for human interaction, it's not doing anyone favors.

Corona-Chan definitely fucked up a lot of things and it definitely contributed to the overuse of social media by certain sections of the population, which doesn't help a lot of people in the self-image department.

@Celestial Peace clearly I hit a raw nerve or two. But intimacy and companionship are important to a lot of people and there is no quick fix for them.

I don't typically fuck with most people because they're a bunch of people pleasing fakes but that's just how I see it. Your mileage may vary.

As far as the sexual aspect goes, I suppose you can wallow in internet porn for the rest of your days. That's what most incels and adjacent types end up doing anyway.

There's this thing called "having sex" which dosen't exactly mean you have to share your fee-fees with someone. I don't know about you but you can get laid without becoming maudlin about that. Having sex is just like eating something you like when you're hungry: you feel good afterwards. That's it.

But of course there's always those who need to search for their "soulmate" or whatever.

Yeah, people who believe in that soulmate love shit are the ones who need a reality check the most. The ones who are the worst affected are those who haven't experienced dating or sex at all, but honestly the incels need to abandon the idea of romance or whatever and just do casual sex to get it out of the way.

Things do get better once you get that out of the way and you do feel less awkward. Better not to tell her you're a virgin or even bring it up.

True, I'm not really the family man type either. So maybe it's a good thing I never settled down.

Perhaps many of them never had a father figure or anyone to teach them the truth about the world. Or they came from a stable family and they expect that to be part of their journey like it was that of their parents.

My take on it is, if you just want sex, Tinder and Grindr can provide it, depending on where you live. I've never heard of a good relationship from those apps though.

Most people I know who are in successful relationships, it just happened. They just met and things happened. That's it.
