Yeah he really has a hyperinflated opinion of his personal worth, in a very Chris-like fashion. He talks about his own writing like normal people talk about Faulkner.

The thing is, his genius, if you can call it that, is really as a performance artist. In that respect he's similar to Chris, in a "how does this person even function" sort of sense, but just like Chris it would be difficult to monetize because it all falls apart upon close inspection. Basically there's a sweet spot between "too obscure you've probably never heard of him" and "oh wow he's actually a giant asshole who is completely reprehensible". I'm not even sure what you'd call that area of observation, honestly...most celebrities exist inside of it, it seems, because if you delve too deeply into anyone's life you probably will find something you dislike about that person. The world will never know of the true extent of Johnathan Sweet's genius... maybe they will post-mortem, when they find him asphyxiated with a gasmask and a tube coming out of his butt, in a pile of cartoon pornography and insane ramblings about Ashleigh and the liberal conspiracy to keep him down..
Lol I'm familiar with him, the thing with G.G. Allin is that he actually had talent to back up his unbelievableness. Sweetness really doesn't have any, but even if he didn't you can fake talent with hard work and being prolific, which he doesn't really have either. Most of you are probably too young to remember G. G. Allin. It is possible to sustain celebrity by just being a really, really terrible person.

THAT IS WHAT...I'm sorry, that is what I'm talking about exactly! At least try! But by his own admission he called 911 from inside his house and then stayed inside said house while presumably watching the beatdown occuring, which is tantamount to cowardice and is the highest form of betrayal in my opinion.
My mom is a goddamn saint and this world does not deserve her, she is my personal hero and every single time I think about this incident without fail my blood pressure raises about 20 points.
The Iconoclast said:I haven't seen it, so it doesn't exist. Simple as that.
That was brought up, but a major issue is how he doesn't seem to feel regret or shame over it. He usually only brings this event up when trying to justify his racism or to score pity points for himself. He might have frozen up, though. Sometimes that happens to people.
I could give him the benefit of the doubt if it was a random stranger but I can't when it's his own mother, I just can't.He might have frozen up, though. Sometimes that happens to people.
Yeah willful ignorance is a bitch isn't it.This is his major malfunction, distilled by a single utterance of his.
Hi
@Treenbeen ,
and welcome to our humble abode.
I'm curious about from whence you came. What are the USA Patriot Boards? What is the common interest there? And how has Dr. Belch generally been received there over the past eight years?
Yeah from all my observations you guys don't really seem to be much different from us (we have threads about all of the things you've mentioned, including Sweetie!Hi there, thanks for the welcome.
The USA Patriot boards were originally started by someone I know in person, and were, I believe, meant to be called AJM Studios, but there was an error somewhere along the way.
Originally, it was just for people that we knew to communicate online, etc etc and meet new people to discuss various things, which were eventually divided into sub-catergories.
As people picked their screennames, etc. it was discovered that Kim Possible was a common interest, and from there, whenever things came up, they were discussed: politics, MLP:FiM, etc.
It's a mix-match of randomness, really.
Dr. Belch is received well by most, though he has received several warnings over the years about inappropriate comments (mostly towards the ladies), etc. Overall, nothing too dramatic until I started posting about Ferguson... then racist comments and various stories came out, and he started linking here to you guys, and the rest is history.
Lol I can totally see why he's so attached to cartoons, it's because he's actually Dick Dastardly.
