This is not going to work. From my experience dealing with people who air out their problems and expect a personal army, you will find that nobody will want to directly intervene on anyone elses behalf, and if there is any support, the typical response will be "just ignore them, they are mean and suck."
99.9% of the people using this app will never help out a single other person and will only use the app to broadcast their own problems. And the majority of the issues people talk about will be "that bastard was cheating on me i want to kill myself, make him suffer!" or "the employee at walmart didnt know where toilet paper was boycott walmart!" or "this person called me fat and now i want to kill myself please give me $400,000 so i can deal with my depression"
Of course there may be a few realistic and serious problems that may come to light through Heartmob that may actually be deserving of a personal army such as someone being depressed due to actual bullying, or actual harassment at work or innocent pink puffballs being unjustly banned from lolcow based internet forum chatrooms, however there will be too much bullshit, sperging, sjw and teen angst nonsense that will make the entire concept useless.
It's a stupid concept but financially genius at the same time. If I had the money I would definitely have invested into this as well. The creators obviously realize how the internet works and know that the majority of their userbase will be idiots and potential lolcows. Like every good entrepreneur, they know the way to easy money is by exploiting the ideals of idiots. By tapping into the untouched and never ventured "I AM A VICTIM" market, there is an unknown amount of profit that can potentially be made through this venture. The success on this venture will not fall on how many lives can be protected but instead on how many people will see themselves as a "victim."
