Sony (generally) hasn't been so up their own ass as to call a bare-bones port or simple graphical update a remake, like with the Last of Us games, so them calling it a remake means that they're going to be changing shit. So the sex and nudity is absolutely out and going all-in on negrification.

If only we could be so lucky as to just get a barebones port. I was hoping it was simply a current gen port of the HD collection since you can only play 1/2 via their dogshit streaming service.

I expect the remakes to remove everything fun and edgy about the originals in favor of hugging, crying, and Marvel quips.

The good news is that every entertainment company on earth will eventually run out of shit to remake/rape and when that happens, the memberberry nostalgia money is gone forever except from the few most diehard manchildren with no souls or families.

The Xenia/RPCS3 emulators are getting better every year too. Time to buy an 8TB HDD for roms and another 32GBs of ram when/if it ever comes down in price.

There have been movies that have been remade a half dozen times. Eventually you'll have a new audience to shit out a re-re-remake to because the original one fucking died.

They're definitely going to cut the sex and nudity out. Not because they want to remake the games for fun and a wider audience, but because they want to replace the original series.
I just got done playing through God of War Ragnarok for the second time, and I didn't realize in my first play through how fucking much a weepy fucking faggot they turned Kratos into.
I knew they had him "calm down" and alright, I can roll my eyes, grit my teeth, and say "yeah, sure, he got his revenge on the Greek Gods and wanted to move on, build a new life, yada yada" but I noticed in this last play through whenever Kratos has a moment to himself, he sits there and his fucking bottom lip is QUIVERING, I shit you not. I don't know how I missed it in my first play through, unless it was part of a new patch or something.
They are 100 percent going to do to Kratos in this remake what they did to Joker in Folie A Dux.

This but speed it up a shitton and more enemies is what we want from God of War, not faggot simulator. Khorne should be screaming in joy for this game.

This actually looks pretty good. Hopefully there's more than just a handful of enemies on screen at once, that shit was pretty lame with the new GoW games.
Also I hope there's some sort of narrative story, I couldn't get into Elden Ring, because of that and it just felt sluggish as shit.
Good story, fast paced action, lots of enemies to kill. Sadly Santa Monica is probably going to fuck that up. I'm surprised they're keeping TC Carlson as the Greek voice, I bet Christopher Judge had himself a good 3 hour long cry session with Cory Barlog over not being brought back to voice Kratos.
 
With this trilogy announcement my interest in God of War will be dead for at least the next 10 years. Wonder if they'll delist the HD collection like Yakuza just did with 3.
