I’m still surprised that they didn’t go for a trilogy and instead decided to cram the entire climax and conclusion into a single game.
 
Played 2018. It was alright, but really lacked in the boss department. I've bitched about this in the past.

What fascinates me is that Ragnarok seems to do dick wirh the setup from 2018. I was expectinga "Kratos dies, Lokitreius becomes main character with a timeskip to not control a snivelling child" sort of deal.

Yet to my amazement, seems like the father son dynamic gets kicked to the curve, nothing satisfying happens with Odin and Thor and the stupid whore Freya which should have died in 2018 is not only relevant but your girlboss.

the plan was to kill off kratos but someone talked sense into them and they only retired kratos instead. also there was planned a third game but that was shutdown. so they just stitched what they had together into ragnarok. so now you know why ragnarok is so half assed. if there is a next gow game it will most likely be only with the son and the girl.
