Well i wouldn't consider xiao a dps character since he's heavily reliant on his Q and more suited to the role of a nuker. As for strong, yeah he is strong but not Ganyu strong or Klee strong, as you'll need a really good weapon and artifacts to start one shotting enemies with him. He's selfish, you need to build the party around him. You'll need a battery, a healer, and a 2nd damage dealer for Xiao's downtime. He's more akin to Childe in that sense, but not really. But man is he fun to play, if you equip him with energy recharge weapon you won't need a battery and 2nd damage dealer, because by the time you finished using your Q, it's gone back up again and you can start fucking shit up again. So in that sense you could say that he's dps character.

Luck was on my side and I was super close to the pity timer without noticing, so I got spooky prankster grill and still have around 60 rolls left.

Guess I'll wait for a Klee banner or for Dainsleif, maybe even Baizhou (the green haired guy that owns Bubu pharmacy with the talking snake)? I don't like the other 4 stars in the banner and getting Hu Tao geared and leveled up is gonna take a long while.

A new 4 star character would also be nice, tbh.

1.4 or 1.5, but next is probably chasm (with zhongli re-run apparently) so most likely end of april. venti heavily rumored, but dunno what other new mondstadt 5* they could cook up. there are few but haven't heard anything about them, so either mihoyo's not working on them right now or they got better at preventing leaks.

I'm tempted to go for 2 Hu Taos but I already have Klee with a 5 star weapon, she's strong and has my favorite lore/design/personality. I should have enough saved for 2 5 stars unless I go to pity twice but would have to get the 50/50. I might just wait until the end of the banner to see if I can just get enough to not have to get lucky.

I should wait for Zhongli but spooky ghost girl is cute.

that's always a good idea, they usually announce the new banner 1-2 days before, so you can decide which 4* you wanna spend rolls on (unless you really want the limited char, but it will back at some point anyway).

If you want to get all the chests your best bet is to get your reputation up until you get both the treasure compasses

1. Hu tao outdps's both Klee and Diluc, if you're a meta hound. She works with a number of 4 star weapons however Homa is obviously a ton better for her. If you aren't a whale, which I hope most of you aren't, weapon banner is a bold move and I salute you if you go for it. Dragon's bane if you pair her with Xingqiu is insane, and considering he is her best support you should definitely do that.

2. If you don't have Venti and are at all interested in clearing Abyss, roll for his rerun. His Q mechanic is unique enough that the chances of a power creep anytime soon is very low and with the anemo artifact set he's the best support in the entire game.

3. The power creep as far as I can tell is coming in the way of weapons in this game rather than characters. The latest sword, jade cutter, and Hu tao's staff were indicative of that (her staff is insane on pretty much every polearm user.) However the coming bow that is BiS for Venti is absolutely busted on what is already a busted character. If power creep is something you think a lot about in gachas, thats the place to watch not the units.

So skyward spine is not a good fit for Hu Tao ? Was thinking of investing a bit for that weapon banner but a user got triple charged for a purchase of gems and mihoyo replied no refunds to that poor sod.

Still thinking about perfecting a main pyro dps for abyss though.

Do you have Dragons Bane, Death Match, Lithic Spear, or Blackcliff? If not then Spine is probably fine. And if you ever get a better weapon for her you can just move the Spine to your Xiangling

I kinda want to get back in Genshin, I blew all the gens I had to get the five star on the current banner since I need dat dps (though I desperately need a strong spear). Now the problem is that I have no support healer and I need a greatsword to break armor, I could still use the ice claymore guy and Barbara but they the former is too slow and the latter's healing gets diminishing returns.

Only have dragon bane, though I read it requires crit rate/dmg to complement it. I will be using bane if there is nothing better.

Dragon's bane is her BiS 4 star weapon, she does end up needing crit rate/dmg through artifacts and she 100% must be run with Xingqiu for it. The reason the non-homa 5 star weapons kind of lag behind with her she scales really shitty w/ attack, so the higher base attack on them is kind of meaningless for her.

New technique found with Diluc where you somehow get a higher jump from jumping mid-attack, high enough that you can do a plunge attack

noelle? also heals.
depending on armor your can also can break those with reactions, claymore just makes it easier and with noelle you get the greatsword + geo combo.

if you don't have fun atm just do your daily shit for primos and stuff and save them till you wanna come back. might be a bit tedious but at some point becomes daily routine, and for me beats taking a break and notice all the stuff I missed/could've grinded for spending 15 minutes a day.
