Played a couple of hours today and it is still fun, probably the result of the devs kicking you in the balls unlike most modern games that are just too easy. Managed to beat Primo Geovishap after couple of minutes of kiting it with Fischl (World level 4, which is where the difficulty spikes up). Which means I finally got Hu Tao to level 40. I don't really get how to build her, her attack stat is low but critical rate is insane. So do I need to give her flat attack up equipment or focus exclusively on critical damage/fire damage? Regardless it's nice to have a character that doesn't need only %attack up and her dodge seems to give her i-frames.noelle? also heals.
depending on armor your can also can break those with reactions, claymore just makes it easier and with noelle you get the greatsword + geo combo.
if you don't have fun atm just do your daily shit for primos and stuff and save them till you wanna come back. might be a bit tedious but at some point becomes daily routine, and for me beats taking a break and notice all the stuff I missed/could've grinded for spending 15 minutes a day.
Every dodge does that, it's just that the timings on most enemy attacks make no fucking sense.her dodge seems to give her i-frames.
The Ley Line Outcrops spawn several smaller enemies depending on the zone you are in. You can farm relatively quickly there. Or use your adventurers' guide or whatever it's called.Played a couple of hours today and it is still fun, probably the result of the devs kicking you in the balls unlike most modern games that are just too easy. Edit: Also is there a way to grind enemy materials? Especially the common kobold variant? Even where I'm at the drop rate is insanly low.

I dont follow leaks super closely but apparently a reliable leaker said that Baizhu aka Dr. Dendro will be in 1.5

ATK/EM Sands, Pyro cup, Crit rate/crit damage hat (whatever youre lacking/whatever your weapon doesnt have). I think her ascension stat is crit damage. Also check online maps or your adventure book for enemy locations.Played a couple of hours today and it is still fun, probably the result of the devs kicking you in the balls unlike most modern games that are just too easy. Holy fuck. I finally defeated the geo hypostasis. That felt pretty cathartic.
You want Pyro damage, Crit Damage, and HP. Her E boosts Attack by HP.Played a couple of hours today and it is still fun, probably the result of the devs kicking you in the balls unlike most modern games that are just too easy. Thanks, I've heard you can grind a set that increases pyro damage that's pretty perfect for her. How much of a pain is it to grind in Adventure Rank 35?You want Pyro damage, Crit Damage, and HP. Her E boosts Attack by HP.
Don't grind artifacts until you unlock the AR 45 dungeon for them as even with a guaranteed 5 star artifact for each run the rates are terrible, it's a complete waste as you can't get anything usable for even mid-game until AR 40. You want to grind mostly skill books, weapon materials, and weekly bosses at that level as they give you the best value. Thanks, I've heard you can grind a set that increases pyro damage that's pretty perfect for her. I'm wondering what's the optimal party for her. Fischl and Barbara are a must since I grinded the shit out of them. The question is the fourth slot, Chongyu is claymore + ice but I don't know how he'll help with his skill. While Xingqiu's elemental skill sounds perfect for a constant elemental reactions (plus double hydro is good for healing).
Until I got Ganyu that was the biggest pain in the ass to fight. If you can freeze the enemies its not as bad, some attacks are just dogshit though like the crab walk or bird/frog drop aoe. It also took me until last week to figure out there is enough room to get out of range from the aoe bomb on death. For the event it seems like the main form is going to be more integrated into the fight.grats, now prepare your anus for oceanid.
which apparently is also an event boss in 1.4 - considering the base version is already cancer, I don't even wanna imagine what mihoyo cooks up for that.
Optimal would be build around Vaporize and Melt and then pumping up reaction damage with EM, the EM would need someone like Sucrose or Albedo though I think. Hu, Xing, Chong, and Barb are probably who I would go with from who you listed, Fischl can get really good but any electro reaction can't compare to melt/vape for damage. With unrestricted choice Hu, Xing, Mona, and Sucrose are probably who I would run.I'm wondering what's the optimal party for her. Fischl and Barbara are a must since I grinded the shit out of them. Dont hit up artifact domains until AR45. I know its a long ways until you get there but you'll just be wasting resin. Once you hit AR45, you get 1-2 guaranteed 5* artifacts from artifact domains, and at AR55 you get a guaranteed 5* artifact from bosses (not that you should wait for AR55 to ascend your characters)Thanks, I've heard you can grind a set that increases pyro damage that's pretty perfect for her. You get to fight Oceanid itself which is pretty sick. Hopefully you can just wale on it and get the fight over quickly. Unfortunately it will still summon its minions while you're fighting though.grats, now prepare your anus for oceanid.

Your overworld team doesnt have to be super minmaxed. You can kind of plug and play whatever characters you want, only some characters like Chongyun have any sort of intrusive anti-synergy (not for Hu Tao but in general he cucks physical damage DPS characters). Hu Tao + Fischl + Barb + Xingqiu could easily work. Barb C2 buffs hydro damage, and her passive talent makes her skill reduce stamina usage which is useful since I think Hu Tao uses her charged attack a lot.
For Fischl you want an ATK or EM bow and Barbara always runs Thrilling Tales (3* book you get for rolling on any banner.)
Thanks, I slowly realize I really misunderstood a lot of how the characters skills are calculated and really play in a suboptimal way (like I boosted elemental mastery for Barbara rather than HP). I'll remove Chongyu because he is fucking slow and get my water prince instead. Fischl will stay since her familiar is pretty useful for extra damage and kiting is always nice if I need to disengage. Barbara will get optimized (especially as I gave her the single five star weapon I got out of hope it will help). Will probably continue playing while looking forward for a fischl and Barbara replacement.Dont hit up artifact domains until AR45. But if you want to maximize your DEEPS I would recommend Hu Tao + Xingqiu and then your next 2 slots are very flexible. Cryo supports for melts (Diona who also provides shields/heals, Chongyun, Kaeya), Anemo supports for swirls (Sucrose, Venti, Jean, MC), Noelle/Zhongli for shields (useful on hu tao for obvious reasons), Sucrose/Albedo to buff your EM, Bennet because he's broken, etc.
Anemo supports are more useful when you get the 4pc anemo artifact set which reduces enemy resistance when you swirl but still, Suc/Venti/Jean are godlike supports in general. Traveler is good too purely for crowd control.

Lost Prayer/Skyward Atlas basically turns Ninguang into a 4.5 star for the record, though her playstyle isnt for everyone. And yeah I'm pretty sure sub-dps barbara is meme shit, better to use her as pure utility in my opinion. Thanks, I slowly realize I really misunderstood a lot of how the characters skills are calculated and really play in a suboptimal way (like I boosted elemental mastery for Barbara rather than HP). He cucks you out of super conduct though. Like if youre using Crescent Pike Xiao/Xiangling/Zhongli or physical Keq/Kaeya with SC. I think it also overrides electro infusion like on Keqing and Beidou, not 100% sure on that. But yeah its not that many characters.chongyun's the only 4* I'm still missing (and probably rosaria, because I really don't want to waste my pity on childe), but in theory the only one he really cucks is razor since phys damage is his secondary stat. anyone else should be able to build around it or even profit from it, from the top of my head doesn't even need special artifacts since the most common ones like gladiator don't have a damage type and mostly work with a specific goblet anyway. can't remember if infusion also applies the element, which would be even better. like chong + xing yaoi combo would basically be perma-freeze even without it.
reminds me of people complaining about bennet c6, and then a mate of mine just puts his pyro set on qiqi and just destroys everything. not even diluc is that unga bunga. but like everything depends on constellations, and most tier lists or "guides" I've seen either completely omit it or assume c6 with pimped out weapons. fischl as support for example loses quite a bit before c6, other chars have other constellations inbetween.
The thing that sucks about physical dps is that the ruin enemies have fucking 70% physical res. Really good for treasure hoarders/fatui though. Is two pyro dps excessive and be considered an overinvestment ?
A while ago before Hutao came, I considered Razor to lead my 2nd abyss team but to build him up was too much a pain in the ass( pain on waiting for exp books + decision to spend resin on other things like electro hypostasis instead of complete artifact devotion ) and ended with too many low lvl characters (beidou, chongyun) which should have a good chance for the spotlight.
So far I decided: Diluc, Bennett, Mona and Diona
Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Jean and Sucrose
I am also not sure if Fischl was a great decision on my part as well. She is 80 and with basic artifacts but at C0, long ES CD and her artifact farming gave dumb results.
Pyro is great overall, but I think i start to rely on it alone too much.
