Yeah fair enough. Though I kind of liked the balance of the last one where it wasnt that hard to clear, but you could hit 36 stars if you grinded/minmaxxed enough even as a f2p
 
That was just because it was based on the beginning on the game so getting to end game with your standard characters was enough. Now its being modified for new meta shit, like Xiao and the coming Hu Tao operating at lower HP.

wasn't the issue in the beginning that people tried to clear it way underleveled with shit artifacts and pyro buff, which meant you needed benett and xianling leveled and preferably klee? same way it was ice afterwards which meant kaeya unless you got lucky with another ice char or ganyu?

never really looked into it, I'm not a fan either. the few primos aren't worth the bullshit and definitely not the utterly retarded artifact grind.

co-op seem to make things easier, not sure it upscales mobs like usual.
if you struggle just matchmake, there's a good chance you end up with someone who has already maxed some towers and just grinds coins. plus like in most mp games you get the usual dumbfuck who doesn't want anyone else to mess with his genius plan but still queues for multiplayer, so just sit back and let them build everything. easier to not get blamed for anything too.

don't you have noelle? I did the 2 new achievements with a lvl50 noelle, lvl50 whiteblind, talents at lvl2 and an unleveled set of bolide/bloodstained (haven't played her in ages).
even on wl8 I could easily knock the pillars out with noelle, and when down you can nuke it with whatever damage dealer you have (didn't try geo like ning tho, might be immune).
when it got into revival state I still managed to destroy 2 pillars with noelle before it revived, without burst. with burst you should be able to destroy all 3 in one go easily.

the only thing you really need to look out for when whacking is when the pillar starts to glow, that's when it charges it's independence day beam and you have to run outside it's range.
the other is when it swirls and spawns the yellow thingie (easy to miss behind a pillar, happens even to me when I get tunnel vision), you need noelle or another greatsword char to destroy it in time and spawn the bubble, that aoe earthquake will 2-3 shot even a maxed level 90. but I think there's a special sound effect too, and usually happens right after teleporting, which makes the swirl easy to spot. I think it's a long range attack, because I don't remember it happened when I was close.

the only other 2 attacks are either the laser or the cannon, and the cannon you can shield it with noelle (easy to spot when you got the mark) while dodging. laser is the same like other hypstasis where you can hit it with charged bow attacks while strafing.

if you're not sure what I mean, just attack it once and watch it's pattern from a distance, should go through at least 3 of them. there's even an achievement for getting it into revival state without destroying any pillar, so you could try to just snipe it from there (but again, watch the yellow thingie when it swirls or it will nuke most of your team). the other is knock it off a pillar 3 times, you can do both in one go if you let it revive once (last one is kill all 3 pillars during the revival stage, but most people get that without trying, has been in the game since 1.2)

Keqing is the worst earning banner thus far. Found that kind of funny, hopefully they rethink the 2 week banner schedule.

is it? haven't really been following it since chide.
probably not the smartest idea to wedge it between xiao and hu tao / zhongli re-run. she's also electro dps which is easy to powercreep and already has strong 4* alternatives with razor and beidou. the boosted 4* are pretty good tho, but lot of people probably rolled on bennet/ning constellations in the past.

just as long as they don't make yao yao a 5* to repeat those klee sales...

when it comes to keqing, i feel most dont want her/dont wanna roll on the banner because they have her already or arent willing to put in the money to get her boosted to C4. other chrs and reactions (pyro ones) being better also dont help her.

you already know yao yao will end up a 5*. that money is free

Keqing not earning much makes sense. You're going to get spooked by her eventually on a coin flip and she's less useful than other standard 5*, also coming between two anticipated banners doesn't help at all. Bennett and Ning are two great 4* to feature but having Barbara in there diluting your odds is a bit of a shame.

If she's the first Dendro then she'll be 4* just to have the element available to a wider playerbase. Whatever her first banner is though it will still rake in a stupid amount of money on people C6'ing her.
 
The best part of new weapon banners is seeing whales and gachatards seethe over not getting what they want or having to dump a bunch of money into it since every pity is a cointoss between either of the rate up weapons

klee also happened right after venti and being a pyro catalyst user (and abyss having a pyro boost iirc), don't see as many people going apeshit over qiqi or even diona. guess it's a race between fujos for the dendro daddy and lolifags for the dendro loli.

lot of streamers spend their money on stupid shit. they get boosted by the company and their viewers, so doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
it's more hilarious that with all that whaling some are still utter dumbfucks when it comes to the game.
 
Alright lads, who's rolling for spooky ghost lady?

She seems fun and I need another fire DPS, so I saved up around 70 rolls over the last weeks.

Also I fucked up and upgraded GEO artifacts for my boi Albedo and went with full ATK instead of DEF, so that sucks, but at least I got a good artifact set for Ningguan if I ever want to level her.

From what i've seen her E is almost identical as Diluc's? just adding pyro damage to your basic attacks, arguably worse since polearms damage couldn't compete with claymore.

I don't know though, gotta wait more to see her full skillset because right now to me she seemed like an inferior version of Diluc. I don't mind rolling for her though because Rie Takahashi.

I must admit, most of the time I look at the character's design and personality to decide whether I want them in my party or not.
I still got Kaeya C1 in my main party just because I like his personality and backstory. It also helps that the content in Genshin Impact is relatively easy so there's no need to min-max. I have Dota to tryhard and GI to relax and watch some fireworks.

And hey, if she turns out to be subpar, people will cry and Mihoyo might buff her like they buffed Zhongli.
