Diona is good as fuck. Stack HP on her and she puts in a fuckton of work on floors 9 through 11. She cleanses with electro debuff which is really nice.

I fucking hate the change to Barbara's lines they put in the new update. There's no fucking energy and it's shitty generic "the good cute character" voice more or less now and does not match up with her fight animations and raw energy like the old versions of the voicelines did. Weirldy it seems it's just the English dub barbara this has happened to. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be fucking punished some way or another because holy shit this is bad. It's not even like normal "haha wow thats an unfitting voice" bad like giving a texas accent to an asian punk themed character it's like they changed it solely to try and make her generic waifubait shit. It's only the battle lines that were changed too, which makes it all the more fucking jarring.

I dont play on english but yeah I agree. I liked the old GO BARBARA GO and ILL PROTECT US voicelines. She sounds much more generic now, no idea what they were thinking
Lots of random unlisted voice changes this patch, like Bennet has a new voiceline for his E, Klee re-recorded normal attack sounds, and in 1.4 they are replacing Amber's CN voice.

that's even more suspicious because usually they just give every char a favonius weapon to shit out bursts, brave heart set so it looks like they do a shitload of damage, talents on lvl 8 and no constellations. specifically altering his gear for a trial smells fishy, otoh much better they slowly buff him john lee style instead of powercreeping the shit out of chars via ganyus they can never nerf after people spent several

haven't used her that much since 1.3, but if they changed her from being based aru I'm gonna rename myself to taiwan numba wan.
the only way they could redeem themselves is giving barbara a ganbare beam.
EDIT: forgot to mention apparently someone on fucking reddit claimed she doesn't smile anymore during her burst (never really paid attention to myself), if true that's more than just adding/updating voicelines.

I think this game is really fun, though I don’t have any friends that play it so I’m kinda starting to get burned out on it.
I’m adventure rank 42 and use a team of Diluc, Razor, Traveler, and Noelle. I’ve had killer luck on pulls so I have Zhongli too, though I haven’t really leveled him.

I think 1.4 is going to be the start of reruns. Probably Venti/Diluc or Jean/Klee.

All of my friends who played have all left. One rerolled until he got a good account and then dropped the game like the next day. One didnt even make it to the end of the Mondstad story. Next one made it to the end of Liyue in patch 1.0 (so not the actual end) and then stopped, last friend actually made it to AR45 then just left due to lack of content + tired of mihoyo/gacha jewwery.
I hope Rosaria isnt on Venti's rerun. I don't want to get spooked by Venti C1 while trying to get her/constellations on her. I also want to save for an eventual Diluc banner.

venti is hinted to come back with the mondstadt festival, which is probably 1.4. although there's also talk that 1.4 is chasm, since 1.2 had a new area, so... (but when 1.6 is inazuma, 1.5 is still a mystery, maybe the sea travel?). so who knows really. apparently they're locking down the betas even harder now with new chars being outsourced to prevent leaks (probably more to not have another john lee debacle when the chinks get riled up).
there's a few chars that will come at some point, like qiqi's boss which I think was dendro, and yaoyao (which I hope will be "free" to give everyone a dendro char).
last one who didn't quit early made it to like 2 days before 1.2 and then never touched it again, worse he's now spouting stupid shit like "you have to grind constantly" when the actual content is slim at best. also complained we never played much co-op, when it was obvious in the first week current design doesn't support it much besides farming domains 3-4 times a day, and then the 1.2 events were basically made for co-op. so who knows why he played as long as he did...
as for rosaria, one advantage 4* have is to rotate faster and even show up in the shop, worst case just skip it and wait a few weeks.
venti's banner apparently made some good cash (although that might be due to being the first and everybody blowing their shit early) and he's still useful and hard to powercreep which would sell again on it's own, so they might not have to prop it up with rosaria and other new/good chars.
but could also be worse, imagine having lisa or amber on the same banner...

My SO and I play together. I wish resin wasn't such a bitch but it is what it is.
In a couple discords for it, mostly a bunch of weird weeb types but overall been pretty nice people I've met through the game.
That said, Inazuma is now suspected to be 2.0 along with Sumera, kind of like how they did Mond/Liyue together.

battlepass gives fragile resin now, so that's at least a bit more. also events don't require it anymore (least didn't in 1.2), which means they give out less but at you can play more together how you see fit.
fwiw lot of gatchas ease up over time, where it becomes easier to get stuff and play more. wouldn't be surprised if they up the cap again at some point or up the rate. or simply add more fragiles so the point becomes moot (just pop a few if you want to play together for example).
dunno if I'd like an inazuma/sumera double whopper, I don't mind content but I rather have it properly stretched out than a big chunk and then back to resin burning for months.
and oh god the w(h)ailing will be off the charts if they run new 5* back to back...

Yep, the Pity system is great, but people get stuck on the low pullrate instead of realizing they can guarantee any character they want if they save up.

Unfortuanetly weapon banner is a bit of a scam/whalebait
You can hit the pity as many times as you want, youre never guaranteed the weapon that you want since theres always 2 weaps on there. For example on the current banner you could just keep getting the jade sword instead of spear
