So, my brain came up with this idea as I struggled to sleep in bed last night.

Basically, Rainbow Six Siege cross Dead by Daylight.

In the vein of off Evil Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Cabin in the Woods, and probably at least a couple dozen Supernatural episodes.

Instead of attackers vs defenders, your have monsters vs hunters.

Monsters come in a variety of subclasses with strengths and weaknesses. Undead have no vulnerabilities, but are most slowed by physical barticades and aren't the strongest. Demons have limits to powers(teleport, but only too and from darkness) can be magically warded (salt line, demon trap, exorcism) and vulnerable (demon hunters have weapons that deal extra damage) but are the most deadly. Spirits can pass through walls, but can be warded. Have least physical influence (build up to a manefest attack), but can distract and disrupt (create illusions, turn off electronics).

The hunters follow a similar horror trope(or just license the characters like Dead by Daylight). Demon hunters have a lot of specialize gear against demon, but might over lap (salt lines stop Demons and ghosts). Ghost hunters have lots of cameras and detectors, but least offensive. Dunno what to call the zombie foils, but they have physical fortification and normal weaponry. Works on demons but weak, ineffective against ghosts.

I won't surprised if something like this comes out, it finally seems like the L4D style vs team coop had recovered from Evolve and is starting to proliferate. I'm sure whatever comes out will be less than what's on my head, but I bet what's in my head sounds cool and sucks to play.

A saw game, but it's more like a telltale game or something in which it's more of an interactive movie/game thing with choices and such

Where you are the victim or the horror monster? Because I gotta say, a game where you either mentally and physically torture people or get mentally and physically tortured yourself sounds interesting. Weird and sick and disturbing, but interesting. I don't think I could play that myself.

We don't see enough games like that I think, that actually try to provoke people in that way good art does. Funny how so many people in the biz want games to be art yet they'd be the first people to object to such concepts though :-)

I want to see an Evil Dead game made in the same vein as Until Dawn. It would follow the events of the first movie specifically, and your choices will determine if anyone besides Ash makes it to the end. Or hell, how about have Scott be the last survivor? It could play off your knowledge of the movie and subvert it.

eh, the victim or a group of victims. probably it'd be more like until dawn without the wendigos

Probably will add more later, but for now my list would be

1) Parasite Eve remake (as mentioned by another user);
2) Parasite Eve/Resident Evil crossover (yes unlikely sure, but a man can dream);
3) An actually really good Ghost in the Shell game with a cerebral plot that would put Kojima to shame;

A really good open world Jurassic Park survival game (and I'm talking specifically based on the first movie)

A retelling of the movie and book's plot with areas seen in the movie and areas seen in the book like the hotel, explore the entire island, try to find a way off.

If you played Alien: Isolation think something a lot like that but on a much grander scale.

A great Megaman Battle Network game. You can get every style and switch to one at any time. Each style can be gained by getting a certain amount of points and using a certain element more. All Navis you fight including Bass.exe have a card. Less Codes. Better direction when going online and doing missions, plus better advice from MegaMan.exe.

That evil farming simulator Whang has been making videos about lately. Probably wouldn't be a great game, but whatever.

I'd faint from excitement if another Thief game was announced that took place after the original trilogy and stayed true to the lore. Have the gameplay be your average immersive sim stuff, maybe with some modernization. No scripted hand fiddling crap and please, for the love of Viktoria's vegan nipples, add a jump button. Rope arrowing anywhere like in the first two would be nice.

Keep the only good thing from the reboot, the customizable difficulty. Add in a robust level editor and it'll be perfect.

Let thou jumpeth anywhere. Thou must jumpeth on all the things.

Disgaea and HDN fighting game by ARKS
VR Gundam sim
Senran Kagura strip poker
Parasite Eve remake

Gordon Ramsays Hells Kitchen (like cooking mama but you have Gordon insulting you no matter what)

King of the Hill hunting remake
JJBA rpg
Ultraman
A good shonen jump fighter
Little Witch Academia (like the Atelier series)

I'd love a proper high fantasy RPG with a massive open world. I'm not talking gritty Tolkien high fantasy, I'm more talking about Disney high fantasy, bright, colorful, alive. If you ever went to Hyrule Castle in Windwaker and looked out at the cel shaded Hyrule and wished to go there in its heyday, that's the game I'm talking about.

  • Banjo-Threeie. The actual Banjo-Threeie that we would have gotten had Rare stayed with Nintendo.
  • Mushroom Kingdom Warriors
  • Another 3D Donkey Kong game along the lines of Donkey Kong 64
  • Rayman 4 (a proper Rayman 4, none of that rabbids shit)
  • Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks 2
  • Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2
  • Anarchy Reigns 2
  • Crash Twinsanity 2
  • Voodoo Vince 2
  • Glover 2
  • Open world Godzilla brawler
  • Mercenaries 3
  • Open world TMNT game with a kick-ass combat system
  • Anarchy Reigns-style brawler with Castlevania characters and monsters

Not really much I'm dying to play that doesn't already exist or isn't coming out in the near future. There was some survivaly-crafty rust-like game in the works where you play as a little mouse-sized dude in the woods behind a house. So you'd have to build a little birdhouse-sized shelter while fighting for survival against giant ants and squirrels and shit. Seemed like a neat idea, and different enough from the usual rust clone but I think the project ended up dying. I'd like to give something like that a shot, get into some Borrowers shenanigans like building crazy contraptions out of household objects, tame giant fauna for transportation and such.

Yeah, I played it and enjoyed it, but I want more Fallout, you know? I also miss the 2D isometric perspective. It feels very different to a 3D game and that feeling is partly what I'm after. 2D isometric always had much greater detail than was possible with 3D for obvious reasons.

Replying to a really old post, I know, but there's always someone that missed Jagged Alliance 2. Many people think of it as a combat game, which is fair it is a game about mercenaries toppling a dictator, the opening of the game is all combat, but after that it opens up and becomes more of an RPG in the style of its contemporaries Baldur's Gate and Fallout, or Wasteland 2 if compared to a more recent game.

But like Fallout 1 & 2 it feels clunky, still very playable and it is a fantastic game but the clunk is there.

Other developers have made sequels. Short review: ☹

I wish a good sequel existed. Harebrained Schemes or inXile might be decent candidates.
