For guys that repeat how much they care about their fans, they do love to treat them like trash. What's the point of releasing the gimped episodes other than to try and milk more people as hard as they can? If all you try to do is exploit the viewer at every opportunity you have then don't be surprised that people pirate your show.
 
Anyone know where episode 2 is currently being streamed? I'm not paying 60 dollars for it.
 
It's shocking how bad the editing is it's 10x worse then episode one. Just random cuts to lines I only even know the context of because I obsessively watched the whole time, they read the essays but never even show them getting that challenge. They clearly asked josie about her fanbase but in the show there's nothing that's even indicated that and they edited out the question. Really shitty really loud music the whole time as well. It's basically just random clips. No context to vance's joke about stuart little 2. Literally nothing of just people hanging out/talking which establishes who anyone is or the atmosphere, or just the context of what the fuck is going on. Knew jet was a pillhead retard but this is just lazy.
The horrific close ups of sylvie/letty are pretty funny though.
 
Did not realize how badly josie was shaking giving her speech from watching through the tiny cams, look at that paper waver. Holy shit she was nervous. Good for her
 
Episode 2 was much better than the first, although it's hard to imagine how a normie would feel about the show going into it blindly. I know Sam has never really cared for pandering to the normies but still.

I thought the speech contest was dumb originally but it really did a lot for character development during this episode. Idk how they're supposed to wrap it all up in just 8 more episodes though. I was thinking episode 3 will be the camping challenges but there's still so much ground to cover before then.
 
Does anyone have the "extras" for episode 1? Ep. 2 extras actually fills in the blanks and adds some of the stuff I liked the most, which probably demonstrates that each episode should be 1hr each. Jon reacting to the Tate memes and then getting the copy of Halo Reach that Mauro reads all day is important to the PLOT.

I want to believe, but I've come to the realization that Jet and his team just don't have the discipline to commit to making that happen.

Also saw episode 1 and I am astounded at how lazily put together it is.

Don't think there are any official "extras" for episode 1. There's no button for it on the site.

Episode 2 isn't any more coherent than episode 1. I was a bit easier on episode 1 since they had a lot of ground to cover to settle in and get into the swing of things but episode 2 is more of the same. It's fun to see HD footage and basement clips but it leaves me wondering why they did it the way they did.

Jet in the beginning... What was the purpose of that?
The music for each essay was a bit much and also too telling for Josie at the end... even someone unaware is going to get know that Josie is a "main character." The music overall was more annoying this episode.
Damiel's literal shit could have been excluded entirely. The emphasis on it was too much. I get that they're trying to set up the Damiel v Letty saga but it's too forced already.
Josie's basement clip where she says she hopes the other girls aren't jealous of her lacks context, it comes off as if she's a diva or something.
The crew being in the background is awkward sometimes.

It was cool seeing Josie shake during her speech because it didn't reflect in her voice and that's a bit symbolic in its own way for her during and after the show.
Introducing TTS more as a character/entity of its own was interesting, not sure how I feel about it so far.
The essays were good quick introductions to each person in their own way, something I didn't think about live.
Speeding up Josie's walking was funny, hope it's not done all the time though.

Seems like they tried to meet a certain time with this episode, awkward pacing.
