I'm surprised GhebFE isn't there with how he was fairly popularish back in the day and I still think its hilarious how The Last Promise lead to a surprisingly high amount of people learning about the Legend of Heroes series due to it using the theme Silver Will from Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC.
The list was only counting hacks the guy who made the list recommend to play, which is probably why GhebFE isn't there, since it's just the same joke over and over and gameplay wise it's terrible.

Genshin and fun should not be in the same sentence.

It was always shit. Every videogame fanbase is shit.
Personally I can find Genshin enjoyable in short week long bursts every few months but that's off topic. I remember the FE community was a lot less autistic back in the day and it was definitely a lot less "Edelgard twitter stany".

Oops.

Anyways...

What else are they supposed to talk about?
I hate it how the game can shield himself from criticism by saying it's unbalanced and shit on purpose.
That shit be making me mad, too. God forbid I want to power through something and get shit over with.

How so? Not fucking with any of the recent entries much?
Oh no I enjoyed Awakening and half of 3 Houses (Azure Moon and Verdant Wind) quite a bit, I just prefer it's story and gameplay though I did I realized some of the things I really liked in 3 Houses were mostly because of how there are parallels to remind me of Genealogy such as comparing Crests to Holy Blood, the weapon breaking and repairing system, the Hero Relics to Holy Weapons and the Slithers basically being a Dollar Store version of the Cult of Loptyr.

I shoulda picked that one up first. But my normie ass saw Three Houses as like a steady introduction and just ran with it.

Honestly Houses is great for the first run or two and I would be lying if I didn't think it was a good pick for an entry game even if I think it has some absolutely atrocious map designs

It took me about two tries to see how everything worked (just recently figured out how adjutants worked lmao before lending it to a friend). I was curious to try out Azure Moon, Crimson Flower, Cindered Shadows, and Verdant Wind and ended up doing just that. Ihave not tried out Silver Snow as much as I would prefer for completion's sake but that route doesn't interest me as much (besides I basically already went through it ala Verdant Wind) as the others.

I hear you about the map designs. The newness started to fade during my third playthrough when I started to get accustomed to everything being kinda... shit and just wanted to get a more "complete" view of the story so to speak.

Honestly if there was an option to just fucking skip the academy era on repeat playthroughs it would be so much better, its absolute asinine that they want you go go through the game basically 4 times to get the full picture with nearly half of each playthrough being nearly the same no matter WHAT and yeah like you said there isn't really much point in doing Silver Snow outside of completion sake due to the fact that it was basically recycled from Verdant Wind.

Yeah Houses is pretty great though the only issue with repeat playthroughs is the Academy arc only because outside of one mission in Crimson Flower is pretty much exactly the same, it would've been better if there were differences with it to reflect the factions in each route.

And it doesn't help that one of the routes is severely less polished and unfinished compared to the rest especially with how a very important plot thread is left as a footnote in the credits where are they now cards.
