Shaq Fu. I used to rent it all the time in the 90s when Shaq was big. I can see why critics don't like it, but as a kid I wasn't super critical, so I still enjoyed it.

Everspace is pretty great for a indie title. I would also say rebel Galaxy is pretty underrated too. Ruiner is pretty good too. Also TitanFall 2.

Mall Tycoon series. Maybe not so much with the games themselves but with the concept of building a mall (Not so much micro building like Another Brick in the Mall).

Opoona.

One of the few games fun cities to explore and a reason to explore them, and it was a Wii game too.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is a fun game that combines Kirby platforming with metroidvania gameplay, yet few people seem to talk about it.
Also, every Star Fox game released after 64 (Adventures, Assault, Command, & Zero)

Great graphics, great music, good gameplay, descent story, hard as fuck if you wanted to get everything

and for some reason, it sold like shit back in the day (:_(

Getting to play as a Red Arremer from Ghosts & Goblins / Ghouls and Ghost was pretty rad.

La Mulana (the remake) is one of my faves... The sequel just finally came out too.

Think Metriod but you're Indiana Jones and you gotta solve riddles and stuff.

What remains of Edith Finch.
It's kind of more of an interactive story but the graphics are lovely and the story is quite interesting. Somewhat confusing but it's a nice short relaxing game

I actually really liked Battleborn. I think the game's marketing really let it down.

A lot of people think it's just a TF2-esque Team Shooter like Overwatch, but it was actually an FPS MOBA, with gear and character levelling during matches, creeps, and towers, etc, and it also had a Borderlands-like Co-op story mode campaign. I thought it was really fun. It launched at a bad time, for sure, and 2K's marketing team was fucking stupid.

Shadowman 64. Good metroidvania type game that did the comic justice. Awesome late 90s edginess, just a fun game that often gets overlooked.

Some of the most underrated games of all time are No One Lives Forever 1 and 2.

Sadly the rights to them are forever lost in limbo barring any official re-releases, remasters or continuation which fucking sucks a dick.

Then there's also Haunting Ground and Rule of Rose, Rule of Rose has some flaws but is still a fascinating game, Haunting Ground on the other hand is just a legit good game, it sucks that it was so overshadowed by other Capcom releases like RE4 and Devil May Cry 3.

Jet Set Radio Future. I thought it improved on the original in every way. Or maybe it's just timed vidya's are my biggest gaming pet peeve and they got rid of that in the sequel. Playing a waiting game hoping xbox emulators will improve enough so I won't have to buy a gigantic xbox for this one game.

The Power Stone series. One of my favorite party games ever.
