I remember Renegade. IE Yami Ryu.

She tried writing on occasion. It wasn't good. Included stupidity like a weak-ass camel melting a steel dog to death with a basic fire attack.

Saw her livejournal once. She hated Obama. Full blood Republican.

...

I mean, she's dead. What do I say?

Go ahead and revive the thread. We might as well learn what her review was.

All right. I'll post the reviews she gave me here for now, and then make a post about the absolute drama that's going on at the moment on ff.net in the thread about her.

Farla also put these two reviews up on her blog fyi so that's a thing I guess. I will keep powerleveling to a minimum if I can. The two reviews on ff.net can be found here:

I will say this: after seeing what she's capable of, this is probably her at her most benign. She also gives some positive feedback and a bit of legitimate criticism (the description of the monsters my main character encounters being lacking, for example). As for the briefcase and the phone? Leaving them out was deliberate for reasons I can't get into because it would ruin part of the plot of the story.

I'll stop here unless anybody wants me to elaborate on how I view the world of pokemon to address the comments made on how the world isn't believable.

I also realise that she probably had to address me a little differently because I avoided most of the stuff she usually tackles with the copy-and-paste method. So there's that too. I won't be surprised if any of her followers end up highlighting this place at some point - they really like to point out comments made by others on different websites so keep an eye out if they bring kiwifarms up on her blog or something.

Fire4Heaven sounds really familiar to me but I can't remember where, when or how I came across them. Were they one of Farla's lackeys or something and is now on a personal crusade against her despite their profile pretty much stating "fuck this shit I'm done"?

What a strange thing to spend 17 years of your life doing. Who cares if some kid writes Pikachu with a capital P in their Pokemon story? And her profile description is so smug. She thinks she's hot shit for sperging out over Pokemon capitalization. How old is she?

Question, whereabouts has she posted these reviews? It's the fanfiction.net one, right?

Also, checkout this forum, it's dead (for now), but a couple of pro and anti Critics United tried to have a discussion, ended with shit flingling and some irony regarding the term "lol-cow".

Right here. Has a lot of information about the shit she's done in the past and her general attitude towards stuff. I have no idea if what's going on drama wise right now is enough to warrant reviving the thread though.

Yes, they're on fanfiction.net as well as her blog.

I assume she was at least 12 and at most 17 in 2001, considering she was into Hunger Games a while ago. I mean, she could be older and openly austistic, but that series isn't really for old adults.

So we're dealing with somebody who, in her 30s, treats winning internet arguments as the height of her day. Kinda like that Benjanun lady but worse.

Also I tried looking us up on her site and, surprise surprise, some guy claimed we were after her before people started posting here about her. [archive] Only one mention later of us. [archive]

I think we had better get ready for when they notice us.

Pretty much this. Especially if the thread about her is revived.

I did get into contact with Fire4Heaven asking if they were indeed one of her lackeys at one point, but she said she wasn't and once again told me to block Farla. So that went nowhere in the end.

It appears most of the drama is focused in and around groups on ff.net and her blog, so I'll be keeping tabs on that mostly.

for a pro-Sarkeesian personality

Funny you mention that, because look what I found on her steam page...

She's also really pissy that there are still gender roles in pokemon games btw. A bit like how TamashiiHiroka thinks Brendan is a misogynist because he thought the main character would be a boy like him lol.

Her hate-LP of Pokemon Black has her writing Bianca off as a feminism failure because she decided to be a professor-in-training instead of a kickass Pokemon battle champ, and Professor Juniper for having a dad in her same profession whom she's got a close working relationship with. And at the beginning she complains about Prof Junie wearing a fucking skirt like her choice of wardrobe somehow makes her less intelligent.

Quotes please. And maybe archive too; that site is apparently unsecure as fuck.

Oh nooooo, how dare a woman be inspired into becoming like her father. How dare a woman continue to have a relationship with her father as an adult. How dare a woman be a daddy's girl.

Imagine my shock that a feminist has daddy issues.

Literally Who?

TamashiHiroka is a poketuber who's also into feminism. So much so that she put Brendan from the 3rd gen games on her worst rivals list because he assumed May's gender and that makes him a misogynist - the worst thing a rival can be, apparently.

You're not missing out on much. A lot of her complaints are very NPC-esque and the whole tone of the playthrough is very bland. But ask and you shall receive - here's some quotes from the first few posts she made as well as the commnets on Juniper's dad:

I mean, it’s not like your avatar can female and potentially become the champion.

I remember her doing a Let's Read where she was extremely critical of it for having the common YA tripe (bad writing, protagonist centered morality, forced romance). I'd say she was an adult then and her interest in it was more about a perceived belief of being a better writer than Suzanne Collins.

So what, we're dealing with a 40s-to-50s woman with a stick up her ass the size of Florida and a cult of potentially teenage brats who think it's so cool that she actls like she's the most hated person in the world?

No wonder I get this weird feeling off her. She's a real manchild, this one.

If she's from Livejournal that's par for the course. Livejournal was always about 20-30 year old women obsessing over fanfiction for childrens' series. (Their go to one was Harry Potter, and I guess in her case Pokemon)

So with the subject having turned over to Pokémon for a while, I remembered this one guy who, even if not a cow proper, might be worth a laugh or something.

Going by Jesse GS the II on SPPf, tonight's subject is some guy who thought that what the Pokémon setting needed to become mature was a sitcom. However logical that is aside, this guy decided to actually go and put it down to writing, so good on him! Let's check what his first chapter is like!

“The Fall of the House of Ash”
Episode 1ACP01
Original Airdate: 1/2/04

It’s the year 2010, and Ash, now 22 years old, is still living with his mom. Having retired from Pokémon training after defeating the Hoenn League in 2004, he and Pikachu now spend all their time loafing around while Delia and Mimey tend to everything. After a while, Delia decides that Ash needs to move out and find his own place to live. Though Ash objects initially, he eventually relents, packing his things and moving away. When Pikachu points out that Ash has not actually picked out a home yet, Ash instead moves into the Cerulean City Gym with his girlfriend Misty. Though Misty’s older sisters balk at the decision, Ash agrees to pull his own weight, keeping his living area clean. When Delia learns that Ash has shacked up with Misty instead of taking the initiative to find a home of his own, she tells him off. Ash finally realizes that he can’t keep falling back on his friends whenever something looks difficult. He and Pikachu once again set out to find a house of their own. After several disappointing false starts, Ash begins to worry that he will never find a place to live. But he then receives a phone call from his friend May, who informs him of the vacant rooms at Goldenrod Arms Apartments in the Johto region. Ash and Pikachu drive to Goldenrod and take an empty room, and after fixing it up, they celebrate with a housewarming party, where Delia congratulates Ash on finding his own home.
...oh.

Yeah, this guy just made his show into easy and simple paragraphs per each episode that tells the entire story for people. Which led to him writing ten whole seasons of this. [each word is a different season]

Funny enough, it was trying to start a new project there that got him in trouble, with an admin telling him to stop doing that, only for him to get butthurt and leave forever. Which I guess was the end of that.

...huh. The guy has a deviantArt account linked in his signature. I wonder if it still works?

...okay, I'm a terrible judge of art, but this guy's work reminds me of Dobson, if not completely as bad as his. Maybe they just shade alike.

Anyway, guy moved on to making comics, drawing fanart, and people underwater. A whole lot.

I didn't expect any of that when I looked this guy up, honest.

Ever wanted to read propaganda by the Animal Liberation Front in the form of a Pokemon story? No? Too bad, my personal cow Terry Regan decided to shit this out to convince others of the plight of animals (or Pokemon in this case).

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13083039/1/Liberation-of-Pokemon

I first encountered Terry 14 years ago so yes, this is a 100% serious non-troll fic. And yes, he really does support the terrorist organization the ALF.
