Bob is actually very proactive on this front. Instead of waiting for calls from the real authorities, Bob drives around causing accidents so he can feel like a true first responder. He’s not very bright, so instead of spacing out the pile-ups, he’s triggering them every Saturdee, Sundee, and Thursdee. The pattern and culprit were obvious to Dale Williams and Jeff Paden, sheriffs of Carroll County and Guernsey County (respectively). I don’t think they would want to arrest Bob in public and cause him unnecessary embarrassment, as they do recognize he is legally retarded. But a dawn raid on the trailer is going to be very upsetting to Rene and cause lots of gossip along the neighbors.

If Bob was really a Christian, he’d turn himself in to law enforcement without delay. But he’s not, so he won’t.

I had a roommate who used a cpap and they are actually really easy to maintain if you aren't a lazy slob. Distilled water in the tank, its very cheap at any grocery store, in the morning, put the tank and accoutrements into a tub of soapy water, blue dawn works fine, shake around a little, rinse, air dry, and they are ready for use the next night.
