I am wondering how many stories have been buried about both illegal immigrants and middle easterners in the US, especially with King Obama in office

Probably not that many. The hardcore Muslims radicals know that Europe puts up with what America doesn't.

This site translated some German information that points towards, you guessed it, an intentional coverup of migrant crimes.

You know, this censoring shit might have worked a few decades ago, but with the internet being such an integral part of everyday life nowadays it's becoming harder and harder to suppress information. So that's why I don't understand why these European countries are so hellbent on suppressing information about criminal migrant behavior. Some racists might use it as an excuse to justify their bigotry against all foreigners. So fucking what? The method these officials are using is making things infinitely worse in the long run. People don't like being lied to, and they don't like having their leaders pretend like everything is fine when it isn't. People want the truth. And if you keep lying to them and acting like they're the bad guys for wanting to know the truth, they're going to get pissed.

Also, hearing a news report that says "Some migrants were in engaged in criminal activities, but now they're detained and going to be punished" is way better than hearing "Hey, so it turns out that migrants have been engaging in crime for fucking months now and your leaders have been lying to you and trying to keep you from finding out. Also, we're not really going to punish these criminals because they're just poor refugees."

Americans tend to shoot at people who try to rape and rob them. That's why they choose to go to Europe instead.

The difference is the Mexicans will do the jobs nobody in America wants to do, instead of stealing jobs or asking for handouts. Right after immigration crackdowns happened it turned out there was a labour shortage because surprise surprise, even high school educated people don't want to spend 12 hours a day picking fruit in a 100 deg field for minimum wage.

Because most of the people making these decisions are old and think the internet is a bunch of tubes or something.

Finland is taking steps to teach Muslim migrants that raping women and beating homos is not ok

So the whole idea that maybe screening immigrants for minimal civilization ideas like just randomly raping and murdering people isn't okay, and if you don't share these ideas, maybe you should go back to the shithole you came from, I guess that's too conservative for them.

I've always thought that people have been way too hard on Mexican immigrants (even if they're illegal), but this whole migrant crisis in Europe has made me feel so grateful for them. The majority of Mexican immigrants are extremely hardworking people who are willing to work the shittiest jobs imaginable to earn money for themselves and their families. And contrary to popular belief, they're usually very law-abiding and respectful of their host country because they're grateful to be in America and don't want to be deported. There's also minimal cultural clashing; 90% of Mexicans are Christian (82.7% of which are Catholic) so there's none of the clash that comes with Muslims immigrating to traditionally Christian societies. I've also never really heard Mexicans display contempt for America and its culture, unlike many migrants to Europe who simultaneously hate the West and want to enjoy its privileges. Mexicans also don't force their culture and values on other people.

I mean, really, at least our migrants do the jobs nobody else want to do and most try to keep a low profile. I've never heard of Mexican immigrants gang-molesting hundreds of women in one night or having to be told that it's wrong to rape women.

Clearly, you've never heard of MS13.

But in general, I do agree with you.

I don't think MS-13 are Mexicans. They're from some Central American country that had a civil war in the '80s, so they fled to LA in droves at that time. El Salvador or Honduras or Guatemala maybe. One of those countries.

This. MS-13 are largely from El Salvador and Honduras.

The illegal immigrants aren't all Mexicans either though. They come from all over Central America. In fact, Mexico has a pretty substantial problem with its own southern border.

Yeah, if it was Mexicans, I doubt there would be fences erected in Europe. Trump may bash them, but they are much, much better than the muslims.
I also do not think there is a word for Taharrush in Mexico.

Yeah I've really never understood why people have such a problem with Mexican immigrants. I've heard of immigrants trying to pay taxes, but they can't because they're here illegally and could get caught. People get really rustled when they don't speak English I guess.

Denmark is set to pass a law that will confiscate migrants' cash and valuable assets in order to pay for the benefits they collect. Basically they already do this to Danish citizens who collect benefits and are just extending this policy to migrants. A lot of whiny dumbasses are complaining about how this is evil and just like how the Nazis robbed Jews of their valuables before sending them to concentration camps, but the Danish government won't take away possessions of sentimental value and they will only confiscate assets and cash that exceed $1500 USD per migrant. They are hoping that this new policy will deter migrants from trying to claim asylum in Denmark, and hopefully it will work out for them.

It may deter those who are seeking "asylum" simply as a route to a lot of freebies from the government. That isn't the purpose of asylum, though. Those legitimately in a country under an asylum claim are entitled to government benefits, but certainly not benefits in excess of what a citizen would get, and certainly not free money on top of already having a large amount of money themselves.

Just came here to post about that! You beat me to it! So many Europeans (and even some Americans) are so salty about this it's hilarious. Because God forbid a country actually tries to do something that might stem the overflowing tide of migrants pouring into Europe and/or makes it easier on the actual citizens of said country.

The second I heard about this law I immediately knew that people were going to make Nazi comparisons. Honestly, it's so fucking offensive, especially considering that the areas that the migrants themselves are coming from have abysmal records regarding anti-Semitism. Beyond that, it's an offensive comparison because
  • The migrants don't have to do anything. They can just go to another country. The Jews had absolutely no say in whether or not they wanted to be shoved into ghettos before being shipped off to concentration camps.
  • Like Millais said, there's a cap. Do you think the Nazis actually had a set limit they could extort before they went "Okay, you can keep the rest"? They literally yanked gold teeth out of people's mouths.
  • The Nazis took away the Jew's valuables just because they could and they were greedy. The Danes have specifically said that the valuables/money are being collected in order to accommodate the migrants so the taxpayers don't have to pay for everything (like they have to in basically every other European country right now)

Maybe the process will be different for people who have strong evidence that they're in need of asylum? Or people who genuinely don't have any valuables? Imo, the law seems to be targeting economic migrants who are taking advantage of the chaos in Syria to profit off of Europe's generosity.

I dunno, maybe I would have been opposed to this law months ago, but at this point I'm so sick and tired of this situation and the way people are reacting to it that I'm actually glad that some nations are trying to do something about it.
