I've always thought that people have been way too hard on Mexican immigrants (even if they're illegal), but this whole migrant crisis in Europe has made me feel so grateful for them. The majority of Mexican immigrants are
extremely hardworking people who are willing to work the shittiest jobs imaginable to earn money for themselves and their families. And contrary to popular belief, they're usually very law-abiding and respectful of their host country because they're grateful to be in America and don't want to be deported. There's also minimal cultural clashing;
90% of Mexicans are Christian (82.7% of which are Catholic) so there's none of the clash that comes with Muslims immigrating to traditionally Christian societies. I've also never really heard Mexicans display contempt for America and its culture, unlike many migrants to Europe who simultaneously hate the West and want to enjoy its privileges. Mexicans also don't force their culture and values on other people.
I mean, really, at least our migrants do the jobs nobody else want to do and most try to keep a low profile. I've never heard of Mexican immigrants gang-molesting hundreds of women in one night or having to be told that it's wrong to rape women.
