Wouldn’t this concoction of drugs just make someone even more of an overblown schizophrenic rather than “dull” it? There’s no way these drugs just “balance each other out” especially on higher doses and likely recreational drug abuse too.

Based on more information in later posts I believe it's not a schizophrenic/schizoaffective treatment, I think it's likely it was paired with an antidepressant. That being said, yeah I'm fairly certain psychiatric drugs can trigger latent issues in people, though I don't know if that applies to any of these, but for example marijuana can trigger different latent psychological issues including anxiety and schizophrenia.
 
I've been on half of these pills and if you can stand being on even one of them you're absolutely fucked in the head beyond what pills can fixed. If you're on all of them at the same time just get a lobotomy, it's cheaper.

No, it wasn't the Xanax, Vicodin and Oxycodone she was taking that she never reported because Xanax gets your license pulled. The FAA does not fuck around with drugs, but you either self-report or piss hot at your physical. Or crash a plane.

I was attempting to be silly because it was also a list of heavy shit that she shouldn't have been driving a children's tricycle while on but at the end of the list was "she was also taking allergy medicine"

The xanax explains so fucking much to why it feels like Elijah doesn't seem to retain a coherent thought. Out of curiousity I looked up the side effects of each of them.

Quetiapine - sedation, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, increased appetite, and weight gain
Eszopiclone - persistent unpleasant/bitter taste, daytime drowsiness, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth
Escitalopram - nausea, headache, insomnia, fatigue, increased sweating, and sexual dysfunction (LOL)
Xanax - We all know what it does thanks to Ralph, but for a refresh: drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision, cognitive impairment (memory issues, trouble concentrating), slurred speech (incase you wonder why he persistently sounds like an incoherent mess) and reduced coordination
Hydroxyzine - irregular heart rhythm, involuntary tremors, and severe skin reactions

Now, normally all of these things would probably result in Schaffer being a zombie, but you guys forget, and I don't care if he's said otherwise: Cocaine is a hell of a drug. I would not put it past this fucker to be counteracting his meds with coke or some kind of upper of some sort. He has to. Caffiene and diet pills only will do so much.

I feel bad for the kid, and am 80/20 split between empathizing with the mother of the kid and going “you married the literal schizo, what did you think was gonna happen.”

I’m just happy I haven’t read the name of the kid anywhere or seen pictures. I hope he makes it out of this anonymously.
