The more likely case is that she heard the story somewhere, and then the issue becomes, ok so when you learned about this did you immediately leave or did you ignore it and stay?
IMO if you heard that your nigga is a pedophile and you stay, there's something really fucking wrong with you, and it comes across as really weird to then bring it up later as a reason to keep him away from the kids, cause it's like, you were fine with that shit before.

I want to make it clear, I think Elijah probably did do that shit, and that he should be kept away from his kids, but the whole situation comes across as really weird to me that his wife knew he was a pedophile but didn't do anything about it until she was trying to get the divorce, and only as a way to get custody of her kids?
You'd think once somebody learns about that shit they'd expose the person right away since it's the right thing to do, and not as leverage in a custody case.

No, it states that she saw this accusation in quote tweets and it concerns her. As the accusations are unproven, she is nevertheless being cautious. Understandable as a parent, especially given Elijah’s track record of pathological lying throughout their marriage and infidelity. Elijah said that on the show where he covered the Milo allegations that his wife said to him “I’m finding out about Sarah Stock with the rest of the world” when Milo dropped them. There is a lot she doesn’t know because he’s such a liar. It’s prudent on her part as you can never get the truth from these types of people

I just find the idea that someone can "know" someone else is a pedophile and either only have an issue with it, or only believe it's true once it effects them really fucked up.

I think there are multiple reasons Elijah poses a risk to his children and shouldn't be around them. Also, I have known someone who had a situation like that happen, it's uncommon, but it happens.
At the same time, I've also known someone who actually had to use that defense because her husband was under investigation for doing that shit, and when she learned of the situation she left right away.
I don't believe she was lying, but like I stated above, it's really fucking annoying to know someone like Elijah has these accusations against him, and that instead of being taken seriously as a way to put him in jail or expose him, they're being used as leverage in a case.
Though as I've been informed, that doesn't seem to be the case, and I stand corrected.
