I've been using Pizza Boy.
in the few minutes since then I looked it up, apparently Game Boy Diablo never got past the basic prototyping stage and doesn't even support clipping

My phone is J2ME, so Meboy is kinda the only option...which sucks. I am playing randomised Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 right now, it crashes so hard sometimes, my phone reboots :(

Well, maybe someone will try to finish it one day, as idea is too good to waste.

I’ll be honest, I don’t “get” Diablo. It loses my interest after an hour. But imagine how those journalists would react if they thought they were getting a new Harry Potter movie and it was just a 3 minute YouTube short instead.

You have a legendary PC game franchise for which the fans were yearning for a proper new entry after years of eating shit, only to have their hopes and dreams crushed by a mobile game. I don't think it's nearly as bad in Diablo's case as it is with Command & Conquer, but it does make me wonder why Blizzard didn't take notes from the Hindenburg disaster that was the announcement of Command & Conquer: Rivals.

Seriously, what the fuck is Blizzard thinking? Did they just put Activision in control of all their business decisions or some shit? Then they attempted damage control only to make things much, much worse.

God am I glad I ditched this company after they released WoW.

To be fair, they made a LOT of money and goodwill with Hearthstone on PC and phones/tablets. That what makes the "phones only Diablo" decision even dumber. But Hearthstone filled a niche that wasn't being really served at the time, there wasn't a good mobile collectible card game. Blizzard's success there in spite of Magic's attempts in the digital space blew the doors wide open for copycats and would-be usurpers. In this instance, ARPGs and shitty mobile mobas already exist, A Diablo offering would have to be awesome to make waves in the crowded field.

Hearthstone was a spin-off so that made it tolerable, this was a implication of a new entry only to blizzard to spit in the face of the fans for a quick buck , the most funny thing is that they said that other teams were working in more Diablo games but as far as I have see it sounds more like a excuse to appease the horde
