Here's a short snippet from their Q&A where they announce there are no plans for a PC version and people boo him out.
Someone asks whether it's an out of season april fools joke and people whistle and applaud.

I am genuinely flabberghasted. How out of touch can these mongoloid idiots be? Thank fuck I gave up on this franchise when they butchered Diablo 3.

I played Diablo II a lot on a tablet/stylus system and tapping on stuff is actually a really fun way to play Diablo.

I hope it'll be available on a more convenient platform like youtube soon. Though the guy that asks in that video sounds like he's just an inch away from breaking into tears.
 
It's Blizzard, they haven't made a good artistic descsion since the early 2000's.
 
Damn you know you really dropped the ball when Blizzard gets boos from their exceptional fanbase, Blizzard could take a pile of dogshit and spraypaint it and their fans would still buy it.

This is exactly the same shit people were pissed at when EA did it at E3 with C&C Mobile, only Blizzard insisted on pretending this was a major announcement and hyped it and gave it top billing. If you're going to shit on your fans like this at least make it a surprise.

Warcraft 3 reforged should have been the last announcement. Not this bag of trash. If you're going to go mobile make it D2 or D1.

It also doesn't look like enough content to be worth a pc port. Just a bunch of flipped D3 assets.
 
Just read a hot take on Twitter saying that people hating the trailer is because of "toxic masculinity" since mobile gaming is dominated by women, because of course

yea just compare the aesthetics of Diablo 1 and 2 to this cheesy cinematic crap. the thing that made Diablo cool was the creepy vibe with acoustic guitar.
